A week of outfits on video – Panache (at home) #8

Une semaine de tenues en vidéo – Panache (à la maison) #8

"Panache" is what we say about a guy who has allure, who is elegant, but not only that: he is dazzling!

And "Panache" is also videos to give you inspiration for those mornings of style deprivation and to put you on the right track. So that people can say that you are a person with panache!

This is the goal.

The principle is simple: each month, I choose a particular piece that I present to you in different outfits .

The first episode was about the gray sweatshirt and if you haven't seen it, there's still time. The trench coat is the subject of the second. The third episode tells you about raw denim . And the fourth, about chinos. The 5th about the perfecto . The 6th about the turtleneck . The 7th was the Converse high tops .

And the 8th, well, were you going to click the "play" button anyway?

So enjoy!

Boring preamble

You asked me.

And more than once. You asked me in the comments, asked me on Instagram, asked me on Vinted, a plane flew in the sky pulling a banner saying: "Please, make a plume".

A Bescherelle would be more necessary than a Panache for this person, but let's move on.

So, seeing this plane with the banner waving in the air like a zero pointed on a double copy, I decided to shoot a Panache from my living room.

Shooting a video alone, without any skills, on paper the idea is beautiful and seductive. We say to ourselves that what is directing? It is taking stock and pressing REC .

AHAHAHAHA!

No, it's a little more than that. It's a job, Madam, Sir. And a beautiful job at that.

When you shoot a video for the first time all by yourself, without professional lighting, with a mischievous sky that has decided to play with the switch of the celestial ceiling light like Jacqouille la Fripouille, well that teaches modesty.

So, you will excuse me for the variations in light intensity, I did what I could. And for the editing too, I did what I could.

But hey, I did it anyway.

The heart of the matter

This Panache comes to the aid of all those who needed their dose of style intravenously before the great deconfinement, the day after, the national upheaval or even the perilous ravine of health uncertainty as they call it on BFM.

For those who are addicted to chic, I am not suggesting one outfit... or two... or three... or four... or nine... or five and a bonus... or none and consider yourself lucky, but SEVEN EXTRAORDINARY OUTFITS!

Well, no, not "extraordinary". The goal is to take it easy but to go anyway.

So what can we see in this artisanal Panache?

You will be able to see a cravat tie, gurkha gurkhé pants, a marinated sailor shirt, glasses with tinted lenses and Birk' birkenstockée.

But I have said too much.

Click "play", it's the best you can do. Because life is too short and we don't know what tomorrow will bring.

“Clothes are there to have fun, so have fun” is the phrase I say the most in my videos. Style is not a set of rules, it is a field of possibilities. You can wear anything, you just have to find your way!
