Our opinion
What we love about Universal Works is the work jackets. They have several forms: - The Baker, the most classic - Kyoto, the most Japanese - The Warmus, interesting with its rounded pockets - The Cabin, without collar, therefore without problem Enough to have a little fun. These jackets can be found in many colors and often with their associated pants and vests. Enough to create an honest, offbeat workwear suit, superb with a simple t-shirt and sneakers. We also like to poke around and be surprised by an original shape or material: for example a short-sleeved sweatshirt or terry polo shirts, the material of a beach towel.

We regret the occasional use of synthetic materials but we also know that this makes it possible to contain prices which, it must be said, are reasonable. During sales periods, the most iconic pieces sell out very quickly. We advise you to be on the lookout. Also stay alert when Universal Works collaborates with other brands or artists. You can come across pieces that are worth a look.

The history of the brand Universal Works

Universal Works is an English ready-to-wear brand born in 2009. It is aimed at men.

Founder and designer : David Keyte

Distribution : Online, three stores in London and one in Nottingham. In France, they can be found in several multi-brand stores almost everywhere.

The Universal Works offering is comprehensive and the prices charged place the brand in a mid-range segment.

The workwear influence comes from the designer who was inspired by his childhood and adolescence. From a modest social background, he could see on the shoulders of his father and the men of his family these pieces which he wanted to modernize at the same time as paying tribute to their wearers.
