Where to find clothes when you are very big?

• Charles Tyrwhitt offers customizable sleeve lengths on shirts, suits and suit jackets. The sleeve length for this brand is measured from the center of the back and not from the shoulder seam. To give you an idea, the 38 inch corresponds to more than 70cm of sleeve length measured from the shoulder seam.

• Hast , on a selection of business and casual shirts. These are sizes followed by an “L”. For example, "39L" corresponds to a size 39 long shirt.

• Suitsupply offers long length on shirts, suits and some coats (but not knits). These are the "long" sizes, numbered above 90.

• TM Lewin . The offer and the style are close to Charles Tyrwhitt. You'll find great length on dress shirts and suits. You also have the option to have a personalized sleeve length.

2. PANTS

Now let's talk about pants .

The whole challenge here is to give you brands whose lengths go further than the traditional 32 or 34.

Knowing that a length 34 can still dress legs up to around 1m90.

• Berg&Berg : the Swedish brand sells its very long pants, unfinished at the bottom. Photos from sales pages show pants retouched for models.

• Carhartt offers length 36.

3. SHOES

If you are very tall, chances are you will get a large shoe size.

In ready-to-wear, brands go up to 45 or 46. If you are in these waters, you should get by with our brand recommendations:

• Alessandro Squarzi . Their military coat has a generous length

• L'Exception Paris . The Parisian brand offers a few longer than average coats in its range

• American Tall , whose promise is to dress men from 1m90 to 2m15.

• 2Tall , literally "too big". Avoid clothing with too much synthetic.
