It's official: BonneGueule has launched its first women's capsule ! The opportunity for us to answer the most frequent questions we have received about women's fashion in recent months, and which are well summarized in this email:
DO YOU KNOW AN EQUIVALENT OF BONNEGUEULE FOR WOMEN?
You often ask us if there is a blog that would be equivalent to the media part of BonneGueule ! So we searched, and we came across Le Dressing Ideal, run by Anne Montecer.
Want to know more about his work? She kindly agreed to answer a few questions to present what she does:
BonneGueule: How was the idea of the Ideal Dressing Room born?
Anne : I created this sustainable fashion blog a year and a half ago, following a personal experience that changed the way I dress and, above all, consume: the birth of my second baby!
With two young children and a very active life, I needed to simplify my wardrobe without sacrificing elegance. My solution to being well dressed (and above all comfortable) in all circumstances was to create my ideal wardrobe, focusing on versatile and durable pieces. I realized that my wardrobe as a former compulsive shopper corresponded neither to my lifestyle nor to my ethics, and that I always returned to safe values when I lacked self-confidence, namely the basics ( jeans, shirts, blazer, etc.).
I know from experience that many women experience the same thing and need to make peace with their wardrobe. Ideal Dressing gives meaning to clothes and is part of an eco-responsible approach.
BonneGueule: What type of content do you offer on your site?
Anne : I share my method for creating your ideal wardrobe and “advice” articles to better choose your clothes and become a more responsible customer.
I also find beautiful, timeless pieces among ethical brands and negotiate discounts for the Dressing Ideal community.
Finally, I share my looks in photos or videos, which highlight the classics of the women's wardrobe and through which many women can project themselves. It's important that they can inspire each other. Getting dressed should remain a pleasure and a way to regain self-confidence.
BonneGueule: What is your observation about current women's fashion?
Anne : It's difficult for women who want to buy more responsibly to navigate, between the "greenwashing" of big brands, the somewhat guilty activist speeches, the lack of transparency... But there is a plethora of small, ethical creators which offer quality pieces, eco-certified and manufactured in France or Europe. The problem is that they have difficulty making themselves known.
With Le Dressing Ideal, I am trying to connect these ethical brands to women looking for transparency and quality.
DO YOU KNOW ANY QUALITY CLOTHING BRANDS FOR WOMEN?
- BonneGueule , obviously! We offer our own collection of quality clothing and shoes for women, designed in beautiful natural European and Japanese materials. In the program ? From the indigo jacket that develops a patina over time, white jeans in GOTS organic cotton, a kimono jacket with a textured fabric in pure Japanese cotton for a subtly vintage spirit or even our sneakers in full-grain Italian leather, high-end tailoring ...
And if not, we can also advise you to go to:
- Officine Générale , whose men's collection we really appreciate in the team, also offers a women's range with beautiful Japanese and Italian materials.

- Sézane. For creativity and successful designs. Be a little careful about the compositions (we find cotton and merino as well as polyester or polyamide) and the countries of manufacture (we find made in Italy or Portugal, but also China).
© Word has it that this ecru cotton sweater worked very well, to the point that it is now sold out.
- Balzac. To stay in a chic style and interesting style choices.
© Casual navy pants in 100% tencel. “But what is tencel?” Nicolò explains everything to you here.
- September. I thank Clémence, customer experience manager at BonneGueule, for this discovery. The brand specializes in jumpsuits, but also offers some t-shirts, pants and accessories.

WHAT SHOES DO YOU RECOMMEND FOR WOMEN?

If you look a little closer, you will notice that some recommended brands have a women's collection. This is a good way to get quality shoes.
So, you can for example look at Meermin or Shoepassion for example.
