Two schools for washing
In machine
Before giving him his first bath, turn your jeans inside out and then put them in his water wheel (in the drum). Since it may bleed, wash it alone , in a wool or delicate cycle, in cold water and without spinning.
Note: Use a dark detergent, and dose according to the hardness of the water.
By hand
This time, the jeans remain right side out. Fill your bathtub with cold or lukewarm water, then submerge it. Let it soak for 45 minutes.
Note: as explained in the video, avoid rubbing the canvas while taking a bath. Also, your jeans are not a fan of the jets of water from the hot tubs. So avoid pointing the shower head towards it. At the risk of seeing certain areas more faded than others.
When drying, be sure to turn it right side up and then hang it by its feet.
So ! Your jeans are now all clean, and ready to follow you on new adventures.
