Our outfits with the BonneGueule x Kuro parka

It's a bit of a special article today: little text, lots of photos.

You really appreciated the photos where the editorial team wears the pieces for a launch, outside of the usual shoot.

So, and to honor this exceptional collaboration, we pulled out all the stops, and a large part of the team posed in front of the lens with this parka.

The instructions ? Make an outfit for each color of parka, and have fun.

Michel (editor)

Blue version

Without consulting each other, Michel and I had the same idea: to wear this parka with a denim jacket. Michel takes it easy with an outfit based around blue and indigo.

The discreetly visible white t-shirt is a reminder with the white fleece inserts:

Beige version

Here, Michel wanted to add light to his outfit with these white pants, which go easily with the “honey” color of the parka.

Note the color of the socks which makes a perfect transition between shoes and pants.

As for the sweater, the olive color, very popular with the Japanese, could only go well with the beige color of the parka, also very popular in the land of the Rising Sun.

Antoine (advisor at the Paris 3rd store)

Blue version

This parka is totally in Antoine's stylistic universe, he loves this kind of volume and he was very happy to wear this parka.

Continuing the fit of the parka, it has fatigue pants that he really appreciates, for a silhouette straight from the streets of Tokyo.

Beige version

This outfit is another variation: it keeps volume on the pants, and has fun with the oversize, for a sharp outfit.

I find that the hoodie works well with the parka, the overall volume gives personality to the whole thing:

Benoit (co-founder, and author of the article)

Beige version

For this outfit, I wanted to explore the distant military origins of this parka. So I put on my trusty upcycled Maharishi cargo.

I wanted to put my Kuro denim jacket in “Monster Stretch” to the test, it is extremely comfortable.

Below, I have my very soft Wing and Horns Henley, and although it's not very visible in the photo, I have my silver pendant from First Arrow!

And I took out my Feit shoes, indestructible, comfortable in this kind of atmosphere.

Blue version

For the blue parka, I wanted to make a more conservative outfit, so I wore the Kuro jeans (also in Monster Stretch) with this pair of Septième Largeur, which is a mix between sneakers and city shoes ( and very comfortable too).

And then I wanted to put on our pine green “mock neck” and reinforce it with my Officine Générale over-shirt.

Perfect for adding richness to an outfit!

Amine (advisor at the Paris 6th store)

Beige version

Amine decided to build an outfit around beige and ecru tones, with a winter tone. I really like this outfit: it's simple, fair and well done.

To be honest, I also wanted to wear this parka with our turtleneck, the feeling of warmth is exquisite. And the volume of the parka allows you to comfortably wear even the smallest thick knit.

Blue version

Amine continues to keep things simple and effective, he simply structured his outfit around the blue of the parka fabric and the white of the fleece inserts for a very harmonious whole.

Clément (advisor at the Paris 6th store)

Blue version

New advisor to our boutique on rue Madame, Clément has also decided to play the over-shirt + turtleneck layering card.

Beige version

Here, Clément has fun with Japanese influences by wearing this noragi, which also bridges with his more tailored pants.

The white sneakers definitely relax this outfit on the border of several universes.

David (community manager)

Beige version

David decided to go on an adventure in the field of workwear: a pair of brown boots so he could jump in puddles and some light, well-textured denim.

He adds an olive overshirt for the military touch. That's good, since once again, the parka comes straight from this universe.

Blue version

A wiser and more discreet outfit. David used the eternal combination of navy and anthracite, always as effective.

A brown sweater to warm things up, and a pair of GAT sneakers to give a vintage nod to the Austrian army.

Geez, maybe I should ask him if he's planning to enlist.

Loan (junior management controller)

Beige version

Loan has found the ideal look to go for a Sunday walk with ease and without fear of the cold.

Its formula: a cozy Toki fleece sweatshirt, comfortable striped wool joggers, and white sneakers for extended walks.

Blue version

Loan really liked the combination of the ecru fur of the parka with the camel of his turtleneck. And I must admit that he was right on target.

For the rest, he remained elegant with checked suit pants.

The blue sneakers echo the navy parka quite subtly, without contrasting too much with the pants.

Giovanni(manager of the Paris 3rd store)

Giovanni hit it hard with a red shirt that stands out well in the outfit, over another flannel shirt. A layering not easy to master, but completely successful here.

He calmed this strong room with darker, discreet and basic colors around it: gray, white and dark green.

And since he realized that this set went just as well with both parkas, he couldn't decide which one he would wear with it.

It's up to you to tell us which one is best suited to this!

Warning: it may sting you

While we were modeling in our studio, Marie-Clarisse (shop project manager) and Hana (jr. marketing project manager) joined the party to steal the parka from us, and we had a hard time getting them back !

So gentlemen, stay on your guard.

Bonus: Mathieu (store advisor in Lyon) and Killian (store manager in Lyon)

A photo that comes straight from our store in Lyon, where our two favorite kids got in on the fun!
