Second outfit with gray jeans: dressy and subtle
Let's see how to use men's gray jeans in a more formal outfit. If you can absolutely wear it with a blue jacket, I thought it would be nicer to vary the pleasures and place this jacket in a very particular color: tones of navy blue / royal blue.
Since at this stage there is no contrast in the outfit, you must add a very light shirt . So I'm wearing a reverse collar shirt with thin blue stripes (invisible in the photo), from us :

Note that a tapered cut (but not tight) visually lengthens the legs and gives more height to the silhouette.
Warning: I will never wear these jeans with a plain gray jacket , the outfit would be far too monochrome! Or you should introduce color somewhere: with accessories, a clutch or more flashy shoes.
Third outfit with gray jeans: simple colors and relaxation
For those who don't necessarily have pieces in more original colors, you can get by very well with off-white and navy blue , without necessarily having particularly worked materials (in this case, there are no only cotton on the outfit that follows).
On the other hand, we will think about integrating a slightly stronger element, like here Alexandre's jacket, which has a beautiful material (or sneakers):
These are very simple colors (off-white, gray, navy), but still using a color contrast to brighten the outfit.

Luca wears a light summer blazer with a light pink shirt, as well as a dark belt that structures his silhouette. The jeans are worn rolled up to reveal their pair of Monks with double buckles.
Little note for the care of gray men's jeans
Gray jeans are black fabric that has been washed, to then fix the color. This requires the manufacturer to start from the start with a very beautiful canvas (otherwise the washing becomes disgusting, like horizontal streaks, due to large threads that are lighter than others).
But what's good is that you don't have to worry afterwards : put in the machine at 30 degrees or wash by hand, and then dry in the open air (never dry -laundry: taking care of your clothes is important!). The canvas will remain beautiful and will not lighten much more (except in areas of friction, like with classic jeans).
So I summarize...
Gray jeans for four possibilities:
- bring out the relief and texture of a material, via a gray color that does not seek to impose itself.
- highlight the subtlety of a color, matching it harmoniously.
- calm the colored toe of a sneaker (and any brighter color).
- blend very simple colors or different materials: gray is often the binding element within an outfit.
