Hello, welcome to this new episode of (Very) Well Dressed.
Well, today we have to talk about a piece that is too often neglected: the bag .
Not only is a good bag essential to your daily comfort , but choosing an ugly or unsuitable bag has the power to completely kill your style , which you have nevertheless carefully refined.
This old, worn-out, half-faded black synthetic backpack needs to be replaced, it's no longer possible.
Let's look at the various bags you could replace it with. (We're talking about urban bags for everyday use of course, not hiking or long-term travel bags.
And if I talk about bags in the plural, it's because ideally, we would have different bags for different uses, rather than a bag that we use for everything, but which is not suitable for anything.
We will cover each of the most common types of bags for everyday use, see their advantages and disadvantages , and throughout the video, many brands and models will be presented via photos.
1. THE BACKPACK
The faithful, the unmissable, the most reliable, the most practical and comfortable , available in many styles... BUT!

2. THE SHOULDER BAG OR MESSENGER BAG
The first alternative to the backpack is the champion of versatility.

3. THE DOCUMENT HOLDER
The elegant one of the lot. And its elegance comes from its light, simple and refined format.

4. 24H / 48H BAGS
Little cousins of the travel bag, the so-called 24h or 48h (or "Weekend") bags are big enough to carry everything you need for a day (or two, depending on the size) during a trip.

Where we often make an error of judgment is to tell ourselves that the 24-hour bag will be ugly for daily use since we won't have anything to fill it with...
5. THE TOTEBAG
This is the basic utility bag par excellence: a base, two handles, and that's it. Basically, it's more of a beach or shopping bag, but nowadays you can find nice and slightly elaborate models for men, more robust and more aesthetic.

6. THE MICRO BAG IN MAN IS... COMPLICATED
You know what I'm talking about.
You know that the subject has been debated since the dawn of time .
On the one hand, some advocate its practicality for urban use , where one rarely needs to carry more than a phone, wallet, keys and one or two extra items.
On the other hand... It is probably the most unanimously criticized style of bag there is.
But why, exactly?
