Monoprix Homme currently offers a complete range of basics : shirts, tees, pants and some shoes.
The styles offered are very sober , and the brand's pieces will find their place in any type of "casual chic" wardrobe, and more particularly in a wardrobe under construction.
The brand's products were particularly interesting (very honorable quality and low prices) until around 2015.
Since then, the quality has steadily declined (and the prices are about the same as before). We see this in particular with the gradual appearance of synthetic materials where there were none before, as well as a relocation of production to countries such as Bangladesh.
Cashmere, which had a good reputation, is of fairly ordinary quality these days.
Really avoid leather shoes and clothing in general (bags, gloves, etc.), which are of poor quality.
Even if the products are much less interesting than before, you can still find acceptable things in this entry-level niche. The overall quality will be a little better than fast fashion for not much more expensive, or even less expensive during promotional periods.
Monoprix is a mass distribution company founded in 1932 and has since enjoyed great success in France. First established in the Paris region, the brand gradually bought out its various competitors to establish itself as the leader in urban proximity sales during the Trente Glorieuses.
In order to develop further, Monoprix is focused on different markets: food, cosmetics and textiles with the “Monoprix Homme” range (there is also clothing for women and children).
