Louis Purple

Our opinion

Thanks to a vertical production chain and Romanian and Ukrainian workshops, the brand's quality/price ratio is very good, especially on costumes. Formal shirts and chinos are less exceptional but still suitable. Please note, the wool pants are very well finished (V comfort, clean seat, tightening tabs).

In short, at Louis Purple, you always get what you pay for.

The cuts are modern and inspired by the English (structured shoulder with padding ) or Italy (generous lapel, spalla camicia ). Most of the fabrics are Italian (VBC, Fratelli Tallia Di Delfino) but we also find Dormeuil on high-end suits.

In short, their half-measures are a benchmark on the market. Plus, they bring a bit of Italian spirit to France, which is always appreciated!

The history of the brand Louis Purple

Louis Purple is a French brand that has been doing half-measures since 2007 and PAP since 2015. It is owned by a large textile production group, which promotes economies of scale. Via its three lines (classic, casual, ceremony), LP produces all the pieces of the men's wardrobe.

Its flagship product, however, remains the suit (in PAP and half measures). The brand focuses on beautiful materials and impeccable manufacturing quality rather than on a strong design.

The lines are therefore quite classic and easily wearable, and the manufacturing is careful: horn buttons, reinforcing half-moons, open buttonholes, tightening tabs, etc.
