OUR OPINION ON THE FAUBOURG SAINT-SULPICE BRAND:
A rather competitive offer, particularly on the business offer at €690, which is overall very affordable for half-measures of quality.
The tailoring, carried out in Eastern Europe, provides the suits with all the finishes one would expect: half-moons, ease loop at the back, lining up to the knee...
And the costumes are obviously semi-canvassed.
The biggest asset in our opinion is the quality of service: the welcome, advice and listening are impeccable, and the brand is capable of showing a lot of effort and patience so that you come away satisfied, with a suit which suits you well.
In terms of style, the brand has its own style, and claims it: narrow lapels, structured shoulders, and fairly rigid interlining.
Combined with the choice of fabrics, whose colors and textures are modern, Faubourg therefore interprets the costume in a fairly “young” Parisian style, on the lookout for trends.
If you are a fan of the genre, go for it without hesitation, but if you are looking for unstructured Italian style, more classic or very wide lapels, other addresses may be more recommendable.
Like any good brand of half-measures, Faubourg is technically capable of achieving them, but when a house has a defined style, it is better to follow it rather than push it outside its own standards.
