Aero offers high-end leathers at reasonable prices relative to the quality (most are less than €1000).
Being able to choose options and be able to modify certain measurements is really a big plus. You must therefore be prepared to wait 2 months for manufacturing time.
They also offer on their site (as well as on their ebay page) leathers that they have in stock (either manufactured for their showroom, or returns from customers who made mistakes in their measurements).
Their customer service is really good , you can easily ask them for information, they will always respond seriously. For example, they can recommend a model close to the one you want if they think it will suit your body shape better.
The brand is still quite difficult to find in physical stores in France.
Aero Leather is a Scottish brand which began its activity in 1975 selling original jackets from the Second World War and vintage clothing (leathers, work clothes, etc.).
It was in 1981 that Aero began making its own leathers from horse skins from the famous American tannery Horween .
Today, Aero offers a very large number of leather jackets and jackets directly inspired by legendary models from their vintage leather archives. There is something for everyone : military models, bikers, US college, everyday leathers, American workers…
There are also some models of military sweaters, tweed clothing and accessories and some models of boots made in the UK.
The particularity of this brand for leather jackets and jackets is that they almost only make to order . You must contact them giving them your measurements (height, weight, chest measurement, waist measurement, pelvis measurement) and they will help you find the size that suits you best.
Even if they cannot do truly tailor-made, they offer to modify the length of the jacket and the length of the sleeves. We also give you the choice of several types of leather (horse, goat, beef), colors (brown, black, “cordovan”), zips, lining, and even shearlings .
As paid options you can choose Italian vegetable leather , interior pockets, other types of linings (cotton tartans, tweed, alpaca, sheep, etc.). You can even ask to change a collar, add/remove pockets, or remove details that don't interest you.
