The Poetto trousers take your style up a notch with their structured, generous fit.

This season, they come in a high-performance Italian technical fabric that combines the natural properties of wool with the impressive durability of Cordura. The result: a lightweight, elegant, and breathable fabric that dries quickly and features a rich texture thanks to its micro-seersucker weave with subtle relief.

A touch of elastane has also been added to ensure total freedom of movement—these trousers are so comfortable, you’ll forget you’re even wearing them.

Wear them solo throughout the spring/summer season, or pair them with the navy Bellagio jacket—soon available in the same fabric—to experience the pleasure of wearing Bonnegueule’s very first wide-leg suit.

Italian Performance, Without Compromise

Our co-founder Benoît wanted to share his passion for techwear within a more tailored style. To do so, he sourced this unique Italian technical fabric for you, combining

  • 59% wool, for the natural beauty of its drape, as well as its thermoregulating and odor-resistant properties
  • 39% high performance Cordura, for exceptional strength and durability. Created in 1966 by the American company Cordura, this ultra-resistant nylon fiber was originally used in military gear before making its way into urban wardrobes. This fabric scores 50,000 cycles on the Martindale abrasion test—four times more than a classic woolen dress fabric
  • 2% elasthane, for complete freedom of movement

Visually, this technical trouser flies under the radar: the fabric is matte, and the feel remains natural thanks to the wool. And because we always prioritize texture, its micro-seersucker weave adds a subtle waffle effect that gives it extra character.

This technical feat is the result of the expertise of Italian supplier Marlane, based in the Biella region. Marlane specializes in creating fabrics that are not only elegant, but also functional and comfortable.
