Our selection of suit brands

The suit remains a central element of the men’s wardrobe. Whether worn for a wedding, at work, or simply for pleasure, it remains a strong symbol of elegance and professionalism. When worn well, it affirms your style and gives you presence.

But faced with the multitude of men’s suit brands, it can be difficult to navigate the landscape. At Bonnegueule, we are interested in garments that are well designed, durable, and pleasant to wear. It is in this spirit that we offer you this selection of men’s suits: first our own collection, then an overview of interesting brands, organized by budget and by style, to help you see things more clearly.

The objective: to help you find the suit best suited to your budget, your style, and your needs.

Our Bonnegueule suit collection

Since our beginnings more than 10 years ago, we have always placed great importance on the essential pieces of the men’s wardrobe. The suit naturally plays a part in this.

We create elegant suits that are easy to wear on a daily basis, designed to be worn both together and separately. The jacket can be paired with jeans or chinos, while the trousers work perfectly with a sweater or a shirt. We select natural fabrics woven in Italy: tropical wool, flannel, or seersucker. Manufacturing is carried out in specialized workshops in Europe to guarantee quality.

The result: durable, comfortable, and versatile suits, designed to accompany your wardrobe for years.

Our vision of a men's suit

FABRIC

The quality of a suit begins with the quality of its fabric. We prioritize wool fabrics sourced from renowned mills: comfortable, textured, and with good structure.

Depending on the season, we explore different materials: tropical wool, flannel, corduroy, or blends of natural fibers.

FIT

A good suit should enhance the silhouette while remaining comfortable. Our fits are modern and designed to flatter the wearer: the shoulder is slightly structured and the waist follows your lines while leaving room for ease.

We pay particular attention to proportions: jacket length, lapel width, pocket placement, and trouser leg opening.

COMMUNITY

Our wardrobe is also shaped thanks to you. Many of our pieces are born from your feedback, your questions, and our daily conversations. This direct relationship with the community allows us to design suits made for everyday life, far from fleeting trends, and aligned with the expectations of men looking above all for well-made and durable clothing.

OUR COMMITMENTS

As a French brand, we manufacture all our garments in Europe, with workshops we know well and follow over time. We like to explain our choices: fabric origins, manufacturing workshops, technical details…

Transparency is an integral part of the way we design clothing.

Additional selection: the suit brands we recommend

Even though we design our own suits, we know that many men like to compare, explore, and get a broader view of what exists. We have therefore gathered here an additional selection of men’s suit brands that we consider relevant for their stylistic proposition or their quality.

This is not an exhaustive ranking, but rather a selection designed to give you useful benchmarks within this vast market and help you navigate according to your budget, expectations, and needs.

Entry-level — under €350

With this budget, you will mainly find suits designed to be accessible. The quality of fabrics and construction varies, but prioritize brands offering models made from 100% natural materials: wool, and sometimes cotton and/or linen for summer.

You should expect fused constructions and relatively simple fabrics. The choice of fits may also be limited.

Brands to know:
Arket, Bexley, Dany Berd, Mario Dessuti, Massimo Dutti

Mid-range — €350 to €700

Of course, not everything is equal, but this segment offers a more interesting quality-to-price ratio. Some brands begin to use fabrics from better mills and half-canvas constructions.

You will also find brands specialized in tailoring that offer well-designed cuts and more refined finishes.

Brands to explore:
Anthony Garçon, Boggi, Grand Le Mar, Mr P., Pini Parma, Suitsupply

High-end — €700 to €1300

At this price level, fabrics become very interesting and constructions are of excellent quality. Suits are often half-canvassed or even fully canvassed. Here, you will find suits with a stronger stylistic identity. You will also find more casual tailoring with real character.

Reference brands:
A Kind of Guise, Berg & Berg, Cavour, De Bonne Facture, Favourbrook, Fursac, Hackett, Natalino, Officine Générale, Poszetka, Thomas Farthing, Wicket

Very high-end — over €1500

There is no need to go this far to own a beautiful suit. But if you have the budget, you will gain access to truly great tailoring: strong character, prestigious fabrics, and full canvas construction.

Brands to discover:
Anglo-Italian, Drake’s, Husbands, Kingsman, Ralph Lauren Purple Label, Ring Jacket, Saman Amel, Stoffà

The second-hand option

Buying a second-hand suit can be an option worth considering. Advantages: there is plenty of choice and prices can be very attractive. Drawbacks: it can be difficult to know whether the fit will suit you, especially if alterations have already been made. In addition, many vintage suits have a style that may feel dated and less suited to contemporary wear.

If you would like access to beautiful pieces at a more accessible price, we also recommend taking a look at our Bonnegueule Second Hand selection. There, we regularly put back on sale beautiful suits from previous collections, customer returns, or even lightly worn shooting samples.

Frequently asked questions about men’s suits

There is no single “best” brand. It all depends on your budget, your style, and how you intend to wear the suit. Some brands stand out for the breadth of their offering, others for their quality-to-price ratio, and others again for the style and presence their tailoring gives you.
