To ensure you can wear them year-round, we chose to make these socks with 90% cotton for softness, 9% polyamide for durability, and 1% elastane for stretch.
This yarn is made using a special twisting technique: four ultra-fine threads are twisted together to create a new yarn that is thicker, yet both strong and exceptionally soft.
The socks are then knitted with a ribbed texture, slightly wavy and plush, on special double-cylinder machines. Unlike standard single-cylinder machines, these have two rows of needles. This historic knitting method dates back to the early 1900s and was largely abandoned in the mid-20th century with the industrialization of textile manufacturing. However, it has seen a resurgence in recent years due to its superior quality.
This process results in a durable, dense, and even knit, with precise and elegant finishing around the edges.
