A well-balanced straight fit

The Calvi features a subtly straight cut designed for comfort, allowing you to explore layering with ease. It’s not an oversized fit, though: the shoulders remain well defined, and the chest, while comfortable, has no excess fabric.

A Japanese denim that lets you see life in turquoise blue

The color of this denim is truly intriguing. Its shade moves away from the classic indigo blue we’re used to and leans toward blue-green tones that immediately catch the eye.

This is what’s known as “greencast” denim, achieved through a specific dyeing process that combines several baths — indigo and sulfur — to create this distinctive turquoise hue. These undertones will only become more pronounced with wear and washing, revealing a patina unlike any other in the world of denim.

Hard to come by, our co-founder Benoît loves greencast for its warm tone, perfectly suited to a spring-summer wardrobe. He was eager to introduce you to the pleasure of this unique fabric, and it was in Japan, at the century-old Nomura mill, that we finally found exactly what we were looking for.

True to Japanese craftsmanship, this fabric also features subtle irregularities in color and texture, giving it a rich visual depth — both understated and remarkable.

How to wear this shirt

The radiant shade of this shirt pairs beautifully with summer tones: think ecru trousers or beige chinos, a pastel T-shirt, or even a khaki overshirt.
