Summary
Arles merino : it’s the star of wool made in France. The goal was to create a French breed which could provide quality wool, and which could carry out transhumance, which requires having so-called “rustic” sheep, capable of climbing altitudes.- The black Velay breed : it is a French breed so old that little is known about its origins. She was already raised by the Celts. And as its name suggests, it provides completely black wool.
And since it's an undyed fabric, the color you see is entirely due to the natural colors of the sheep! It couldn't be more authentic.
A straight cut
With a fabric that has so much hold, we chose the straight cut . On the program: generous comfort on the thighs and a leg opening that exceeds 20cm in size 48.
Important: We thought of it in a more contemporary design, therefore relatively short, but you can undo the hem very easily to lengthen the pants by 7-8 centimeters . It is therefore a straight cut, well structured and with excellent hold due to the material. It is obviously lined at the thighs for more comfort.

Our Stamford French velvet overshirt
One of our passions is to offer you pieces with materials full of know-how , which give a soul to the garment.
French velvet
To get the best possible velvet, we went to Velcorex . It is the last velvet producer located in France still in activity . Their material has incredible relief , and immediately gives an extra touch to the garment. Let's stay away from smooth and flat materials.
For the rest, we tried to keep the practical side of the overshirt , which keeps you warm and slips between several layers. The patch pocket on the chest and the horn buttons are also there, like on our Pavie overshirt.

Our overshirt in Japanese Robi material
When a Japanese weaver seizes fibers to recycle…
An astonishing composition
Let's come back to the composition of this fabric from the Japanese Kuwamura :
- 61% cotton from Brazil and Australia
- 20% recycled acrylic
- 19% recycled polyester
Acrylic and polyester come from fibers that are recovered, recycled and used to create this special yarn. Everything is spun , dyed and woven in Japan ! It is the acrylic and polyester which give this fabric such a texture, with a very beautiful irregular relief. For those who already have our Rob overshirt , it's the same fabric, available in a different color, and in an overshirt format.
I am pleasantly surprised to see how much you love this fabric, which combines cotton and recycled fibers, with its unique relief . We wanted a tone that leans slightly towards brown, for a warmer autumnal touch.
And finally, two pockets adorn the chest, to provide a little structure, and a real “overshirt” feel. To wear over our merino t-shirts or our fine turtlenecks!

Our thick Skye sweater
The inspiration for this sweater was a winter landscape sprinkled with snow, because I like that kind of atmosphere.
Scottish style
The material is a luminous gray , with white irregularities in the thread which give this charming powdery effect that I find magnificent! The yarn comes from the Scottish company Todd & Duncan , who is one of my favorite spinners, because he has a very good taste when it comes to colors, in addition to his high standards and his know-how.
We went to do a report at their house:
To summarize, Todd & Duncan is:
- 150 years of experience in Scotland in sourcing and spinning the finest fibers… with all the traceability that goes with it!
- one of the most renowned suppliers of cashmere and wool in the world (yes, yes, in the world)
- a maniacal worry with double and triple checks in every direction
- an unrivaled reputation for the beauty of their colors

Our Dolan cable-knit sweater
It's been a long time since we released an off-white sweater, a piece that brightens up an outfit , and which is very useful in winter layering, because it will highlight all the pretty pieces that you will wear over this sweater .
Soft
Its cables add texture to this piece and are a nod to Aran patterns. They allow you to dress up this sweater, all in relief !
And to provide softness, merino wool has a thickness of 17.5 microns, which corresponds to a very fine wool fiber, and therefore soft. Add to that 10% cashmere, and you get a very soft sweater.

Our Livigno turtleneck sweaters
So this sweater, I've had a hard time doing without it since I got mine, clearly visible in the presentation video of our collaboration with Bleu de Chauffe !
We wanted a “ Swiss army knife ” sweater in terms of warmth, but with a unique texture . Above all, it is a mixture of wool (80%) and cashmere (20%), which gives it a lot of softness, very pleasant at the collar level next to the skin. When you see the textured and irregular side, you might think that it is a tartan knit, but it is not !
Double wire
To obtain this textured effect, we were clever: it is in fact two yarns from two different Italian suppliers that are mixed. This is why it is both textured, but also soft thanks to the cashmere. The chosen knitting stitch is a honeycomb , because I find that it brings out the softness of the cashmere.
It is therefore a medium-weight, ultra-versatile sweater that I like to wear with a leather jacket (it is warm enough to create a sufficiently warm layer) or a dress coat. I promise you will never leave it once you try it.
