Why did we break everything in our historic store in Paris?

I gain a lot of momentum to push a wide open door, both feet forward:

At BonneGueule, we see the meaning of service as something noble.

And, to offer you a service that is closest to your needs as a consumer, we need to know them. Logically.

So, we make sure to always listen to your comments. For example, we have slightly lengthened the length of our shirts as well as their sleeves because you pointed this out to us (in store or through Nicolò whom you know or Clémence, an emeritus worker in the shadow of our e- shop) .

When we have our heads in the handlebars, certain elements can escape us. And that's where you come in: we think you can see things we can't see.

Emily Weiss (CEO of Glossier, an American cosmetics brand that takes great care of its consumers) whose definition of success is “making people happy” declares:

All of our clients are influencers. The brands of the future are those that co-create with their customers.

We think like her.

Of course, we're not talking about Instagram when we say “influencer”, eh. We're talking about the positive influence you have on our actions.

So we listened.

What were our areas for improvement?

1. An unclear offer

Did you have difficulty understanding the distribution of our offer in our stores? Ok, we noted.

2. Even more availability for personalized advice by appointment

Since more and more of you are coming to see us (and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!), there should be more of us welcoming you. It makes sense, right?

Especially since the personalized advice by appointment is a great success! Sometimes to the point of having to close the store to give you our full attention and it was no longer possible to penalize some of our customers.

A space full of life!

A quick aside on the personalized advice by appointment that has existed since the end of September 2017:

With these appointments we want to stop time to chat with you and advise you and no one else. Is not it awesome ?

It's for you, if:

  • You wonder which clothes will best highlight your body shape?
  • You don't know how to dress for a particular event
  • You don't know what to pair with a piece of clothing (come with it!)
  • You have an hour to kill before your aquabike class
  • You have all kinds of practical questions about fashion and you need our advice.

Oh yes, and I don't know if you realized this correctly, but this service is completely free .

Yes, yes, offered.

And I emphasize doubly: there is no obligation to purchase.

3. A layout of the historic store to reinvent

Céline, whom you may have already met in one of our Parisian boutiques or even in Lyon, tells you about it better than me:

We realized that you found yourself a bit in the middle of the passage for personalized advice by appointment and that was not what we wanted for you. It lacked privacy . On the contrary, we wanted you to feel listened to and understood.

So we acted

1. We have simplified the offer

We agree, it was a bit confusing. Between our historic store at 14 that we are renovating and our second space located just opposite at 15, we had to clarify things.

What you will find at 14:

  • All our tailoring pieces: We want to take more time with you when the time comes to find you a suit. This piece obeys fairly strict codes that we would like to explain to you and we also want to be able to take precise measurements for alterations, so that the cut best flatters your figure.
  • Our services just for you:
    • Collecting your online order or returning it.
    • Recovering your edits.
    • Personalized advice by appointment

What you will find at 15:

  • Our entire casual offer!

2. We strengthened the teams

This way, we are always able to welcome you as best as possible because you need our full attention.

And so :

  • The 14 team is now made up of Céline (who, after opening the Lyon boutique, joined us in Paris during the summer of 2017), Paul and Grégory (arrived in February 2018).
  • The team of 15 is made up of Jade, Antoine and Agathe.

You will find at BonneGueule a relaxed atmosphere and always at your service, like this friendly moment between Antoine and Paul.

3. Rearrangement of space

Outside :

TADAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Inside :

For once, we called on LABEL EXPERIENCE!

In preview, here is the detail of the work carried out:

  • A total glass opening for better display of our products.
  • A facade in midnight blue artisanal earthenware which echoes that of the 15th.
  • A comfortable tailor-made bench to receive you during our personalized advice by appointment.
  • A little less pieces hanging on racks but more mannequins presenting complete outfits to help you project yourself.
  • A more airy checkout area which allows our teams greater comfort.

Well of course you have to imagine. Or come see us!

In your opinion, when is the reopening of the 14th planned? Saturday April 14 of course!

I can only encourage you to make an appointment with our team for a personalized meeting: our new editor-in-chief Christophe (and seasoned investigative journalist) has tested and approved it. He will talk to you about it as soon as possible.

Good news if you live near Lyon or Bordeaux, we have also implemented them in these stores!
