Editorial nuggets #49 – David

Les pépites de la rédaction #49 – David

For these first nuggets of the year 2020, I offer you three pieces in light tones to brighten up your winter outfits.

Kent Wang shawl collar cardigan

After telling you about a belted shawl collar cardigan with Americana pattern from Fortela in my last nuggets , here I am again with another shawl collar cardigan, less expensive, more classic in style, but far from boring.

I like this ecru/cream color which I find a lot of character in. The donegal speckling stands out well here and gives this piece a rather unique side.

I would rather use it to contrast with navy blue and green, but a monochrome with white, beige or brown is quite suitable too.

I invite you to look at the other colors offered, which are also very successful (with the added bonus of inspiration through these 6 looks):

Instagrammer @thezanification even wears this cardigan in the green color... over a thin turtleneck. And why not ?

Belted Lo Sneakers

If I say Asahi to you, that might mean something to you.

Indeed, Benoît mentioned them in his great guide last summer , to discuss the Deck model distributed on the Officine Générale e-shop .

But for me, it's not this model that interests me. No.

My favorite is this color of the so-called “Belted Lo” model , which cannot be found in Europe to my knowledge.

Look at this beige suede leather, this beautiful original and refined contrasting navy color band, all placed on a bright white vulcanized sole.

White, beige and blue are basic colors in men's wardrobe. It's no wonder that skillfully combining them on shoes works.

Oh yes, and did I tell you it was made in Japan?

I fear that this color will forever remain a sweet waking dream for me.

That being said, you will find the white model with a light beige contrasting band, also very pretty, distributed in France on the Rendez-Vous Store e-shop . Perfect for white sneakers that stand out from the crowd.

Orner silver bangle

When we talk about men's bracelets , we often think of leather bracelets or stone bracelets.

But for some time now, the silver bangle type bracelet has been catching my eye. I know that a certain number of you appreciated the one worn by Mattia, founder of ABCL:

Personally, it was the Orner “square” bangle that I fell in love with.

Simple, refined, made in France, all for less than 100 euros.

For this selection, I chose the 2.5 mm wide, discreet model. Its thinness allows it to be combined with other bracelets on your wrist without it being too much. Worn alone, in my opinion, it adds a touch of subtle elegance to your outfit.

For information, this model is also distributed by Exception .

David Hao, maximum soft tailoring

I think clothing can be a beautiful means of personal development. I like unstructured jackets, straight pants and loafers.
