For these first nuggets of the year 2020, I offer you three pieces in light tones to brighten up your winter outfits.
Kent Wang Shawl Collar Cardigan
After telling you about a belted shawl collar cardigan with an Americana pattern from Fortela in my latest gems , here I am again with another shawl collar cardigan, less expensive, more classic in style, but far from boring.
I like this ecru/cream color which I find very distinctive. The donegal speckles really stand out here and give this piece a rather unique look.
I would rather use it to contrast with navy and green, but a monochrome with white, beige or brown is also quite adequate.
I invite you to look at the other colors offered, which are also very successful (with the added bonus of inspiration through these 6 looks):
Instagrammer @thezanification even wears this cardigan in green... over a thin turtleneck. Why not?
Belted Lo Sneakers
If I say Asahi, it might mean something to you.
Indeed, Benoît mentioned them in his big guide last summer , to discuss the Deck model distributed on the Officine Générale e-shop .
But I'm not interested in this model. No.
My favorite is this color of the so-called "Belted Lo" model , which I know of cannot be found in Europe.
Look at this beige suede leather, this beautiful original and refined contrasting stripe in navy color, all placed on a bright white vulcanized sole.
White, beige and blue are basic colours in the men's wardrobe. It's no wonder that combining them skillfully on shoes works.
Oh yeah, and did I tell you it was made in Japan?
I fear this colorway will forever remain a sweet daydream for me.
That being said, you will find the white model with a light beige contrasting stripe, also very pretty, distributed in France on the e-shop Rendez-Vous Store . Perfect for white sneakers that stand out from the crowd.
Orner silver rush
When we talk about men's bracelets , we often think of leather bracelets or stone bracelets.
But for some time now, the silver bangle bracelet has been catching my eye. I know that a number of you also liked the one worn by Mattia, founder of ABCL:
Personally, it was the "square" rush from Orner that I fell in love with.
Simple, refined, made in France, all for less than 100 euros.
For this selection, I chose the 2.5 mm wide model, discreet. Its finesse allows it to be associated with other bracelets on your wrist without it being too much. Worn alone, it adds, in my opinion, a touch of subtle elegance to your outfit.
For information, this model is also distributed by l'Exception .
