Women's fashion: 6 look ideas with straight cut jeans

Mode femme : 6 idées de looks avec un jean coupe droite
Casual, retro, pastel... Discover several outfit ideas with our Salata women's jeans, designed by six members of the BonneGueule team.

One pair of jeans, six women, six look ideas . Our Women's line is enriched with a new model: the Salata jeans in "stone" shade - a deeper blue than the "bleach" version that came out last year .

The Salata is a classic jean but far from boring . The one you slip into automatically on mornings when you want a reliable and flattering piece. The piece you trust because it goes with everything.

Semi-high waist, with a straight cut that highlights the lines without neglecting comfort, the Salata has the rare beauty of a Japanese canvas woven like in the 70s . Additional non-negligible points: it is made of GOTS certified organic cotton , was made in Portugal and its dye is environmentally friendly .

And to prove its ability to adapt to different bodies and styles , we asked six women from the BonneGueule team to take it on and imagine a look with it. Here they are.

Sarah, minimalist with a twist

Our production manager built her look from a minimalist and effective base , whose recipe no longer needs to prove anything: a white cotton t-shirt (our Cuba model) tucked into the famous Salata jeans and a pair of white sneakers (the Ina from BonneGueule, which she "borrowed" from our stock shooting...).

To twist the outfit, Sarah then opted for two strong pieces that go together wonderfully :

  • a short-sleeved jacket from the 1980s, found in a thrift store. Featuring light shoulder pads and made of a beautiful textured material, it dresses up the t-shirt and adds a discreet touch of vibrant color thanks to its fine check pattern.
  • an Amélie Pichard shoulder bag in a beautiful pop orange, embellished with a crocodile-shaped jewel closure (the brand's signature). Its color discreetly echoes the lines of the jacket.

Final touch: an accumulation of golden jewels.

Nawal, retro spirit

The second look is that of the one who writes this article: Nawal, responsible for editorial content. And because it would be strange to talk about myself in the third person , let's switch to "I" for a few moments!

For this outfit, I wanted to mix inspirations from the 1970s and 1980s , as well as autumnal and spicy shades that I particularly like. The centerpiece is my vintage Naf-Naf shirt and its very seventies print. I wear it here layered over a Yvo&Moi cream merino wool undershirt , and under a classic beige vintage trench coat . The fluidity of the latter creates an interesting contrast with the more robust canvas of the denim.

I finished my outfit with a brown corduroy cap from Maison Standards , a leather Balzac bag chosen in the same shades, a black leather belt and a pair of very comfortable patent cowboy boots .

Charlène, attention to detail

Charlène, Director of Operations for the Product Division, has opted for a look where the devil is in the details.

Just like Sarah mentioned above, the base is simple and effective , with a white t-shirt / blue jeans combo. An outfit that she then enriched with:

  • of an anthracite cotton overshirt from Lemaire, with a mandarin collar, which she chose to wear double-breasted
  • of a vintage multi-colored Lanvin silk scarf, diverted to accessorize jeans like a belt
  • Jimmy Fairly black sunglasses
  • of a pair of Arket lavender socks
  • of a pair of black leather Paraboot

Landry, bohemian and romantic

Landry, a technician and designer at the product center, has chosen to take her jeans into a bohemian and romantic world .

I don't know about you, but I have no eyes for her sublime ivory silk crepe blouse from Céline. That bib! Those ruffles on the chest! Those embroideries on the wrists! Sorry, I'm getting carried away .

It's an airy and delicate piece that she mixed, for the sake of contrast, with more rigid pieces: jeans, of course, but also a studded leather belt as well as black pumps from André - whose thick heel makes walking much easier .

Helen, casual cool

Is it possible to be cooler than Helen, our production manager? Answer: no.

Here, the Salata stands out as a casual piece , with an everyday look that combines elegance and absolute coolness. It is worn with a white blouse from Maje, a jacket with Monoprix patterns featuring crocodiles (again!) and plants , and a pair of black patent Chelsea Boots from Minelli. Her belt? She got it from her mother. "You'll say it's vintage!" she whispered to me.

Fanny, touches of pastel

Fanny, administrative and financial manager, is the always chic girl who arrives at the office clicking her heels on the floor . It was therefore obvious that she would wear her jeans with a pair of pumps (here, a black suede model from Minelli). The detail that changes everything: the cuff on the bottom of the jeans, so that the fall is more flattering with the shape of the shoes .

The rest of the look is composed of:

- a white Patina cotton t-shirt

- an OrtaStore shirt in cotton and linen, decorated with pastel vertical stripes, worn open

- a white leather bag from Le Tanneur which adds a luminous touch

Nawal Bonnefoy, vintage forever

Addicted to vintage and in love with clothes that have a story, I love vinyl records and putting on makeup like a 60s star. A former consumer of fast-fashion, I now campaign for responsible fashion, and am slowly (but surely) building my sustainable wardrobe.
