You know the problem in summer, in general you put one piece for the upper body and one piece at the bottom, rarely more.
So you're wondering "how do I look stylish with a simple t-shirt and Bermuda shorts?"
How can you go further than just wearing a t-shirt?
How to dress to find your soul mate during your vacation?
No nice coat, no nice jacket, no gloves, no accessories, no nice sweater, to help you, you'll have to be smarter!
In general, you will wear two items of clothing, three at most, so you have to choose them carefully!
It's a bit of a paradox in summer, as much as you need an outfit with a relaxed "vibe", I find that it's even more demanding on the quality of the pieces.
For example, wearing an old t-shirt from the era before you became passionate about clothing will ruin the outfit, even if you have the most beautiful Bermuda shorts in the world.
It's like a good pizza, there are very few ingredients, it's all about the quality of the basic ingredients.
Here are all my tips in this video.
In terms of t-shirts , if you look at our collection of t-shirts, you will notice that I really like the texture, or certain colors like mustard or terracotta.
You have the polo shirts too. There, apart from the pass, there is little room for maneuver. I just ask you to avoid the cliché fluorescent orange or purple sweater!
The shark collar also allows you to vary the pleasures, in addition to giving a very relaxed touch. The Percival and Corridor brands are very strong for very unique summer shirts.
If you really want your more sartorial shirt, a more “dressy” shirt, that is to say with a pretty collar, it can also be nice to wear tucked into your pants and with the sleeves rolled up, but in this case - there, make sure you don't fall into simple white poplin.
Take materials with more grain, like you can find at Howard's or at Gyappu , Buttice Napoli or D'Avinos if you have the budget and you want the great thrill of Neapolitan shirting with all the details by hand.
DON’T UNDERESTIMATE THE ROLE OF PANTS
Pants are super important in the summer, because they're going to be one of the two items of clothing you're going to wear, they literally make up 50% of your outfit.
So don't hesitate to take it with materials other than cotton, like linen or SummerTime from Loro Piana , the fabric of our pants of which I am an absolute fan and which I talk about almost every Parlon Clothing.
Well recently, I bought some linen pants from Informale , they're great too, and in France there is the excellent Les Flâneurs boutique in Rennes which sells them in its physical store, and on its eshop.
If you want your cotton pants, even get one, as long as they are light or with an atypical closure like a Gurkha for example. In short, with finding details that distinguish it from a classic chino.
SHOES: A MULTITUDE OF POSSIBILITIES
Here too, singularity is needed!
One of the simplest ways is an espadrille, either in a fun color, or with a fabric that has character, like Escadrille , Aïzea or Don Quichosse.

Me, in summer I'm a big fan of running too, this all-purpose sneaker, that's why we released ours, and before I wore New Balance , it's the type of "no brainer" shoe ."
I'm not much of a leather sandal person, but why not.
THE PRACTICAL SIDE: POCKETS ON AN OUTFIT
This is where you quickly get stuck in summer: the lack of pockets.
But I assure you, there are many solutions.
If you like the style, you have the cargo shorts, we are preparing one in fact.
Otherwise you have pockets on the shirts.
Well, no need for me to talk about the western shirt since I talk about it all the time .
But it’s not just the western shirt that has pockets! In short, when you are going to prepare your suitcase, you must have this little detail in mind when choosing your shirt.
Or otherwise, you have a solution that I like, it’s the overshirt.
This is a bit the reason for our cotton overshirt, especially with this large interior pocket.
I recommend 100% cotton, or blends with linen, because it breathes!
When you mix shirt with a pocket + overshirt with pockets, there are enough pockets to rest easy.
And if it's a little cool, the workwear jacket is very useful. And there in terms of pockets, we add an extra layer.
That's why for the latest summer pieces released and those to come, we added pockets.
ACCESSORIES: A KEY ELEMENT IN A SUMMER OUTFIT
I keep talking about it, you know my opinion on the importance of a pair of sunglasses, if you don't already have one, get one, and if you don't know how to choose it, take a look my video on the subject .
Then comes the question of jewelry such as bracelets and necklaces, here too I made an entire video on the subject .
If there's ever a time to wear them, it's during the summer, they really dress up an outfit.
So at the moment, I really like the bracelets and necklaces section of Jinji.

If you have a very simple outfit, with just a t-shirt and Bermuda shorts, do me a favor and try accessories to brighten up the whole look.
When it comes to watches, it's rare that I speak on the subject, but here I kind of have to!
I really like diver type watches, you must have noticed that if you have the eye.
And for me, it's THE type of super cool watch to wear in summer, because you can swim without being afraid of ruining your watch.
And I find that it's a type of watch that can also be worn very easily with a nice shirt, as Rolex very clumsily tried to show in this ad from another time.
In short, for me it is the versatile and “all-terrain” watch par excellence.
Plus, if you play with NATO straps, you can add a really cool touch of color or vintage.
So here too, I invite you to read the selection that Don wrote on diving watches.
And if you want ideas, there is no shortage of brand selections based on budgets!
And you see, it's when you put all these little things end to end that you arrive at an outfit that really has a touch of your own, when you put on a shirt with roughness, a little quiet necklace underneath, a nice pair of sunglasses, nice linen pants, espadrilles, everything goes well together, and you're a world away from a white t-shirt and beige chinos outfit.
HOW TO FIND SINGULARITY?
In summer, to have an outfit with personality with few clothes, it's a somewhat counterintuitive rule: avoid basics. And therefore LOOK FOR STRONG PIECES.
If you put on a simple white t-shirt, as perfect as it is, with simple pants too, you will have a very simple outfit.
If you really want your simple white tee, do me a favor and wear a shirt with grain like chambray on top. And accessorize the outfit!
So yes, all the famous basics (that you are starting to know or that you have mastered if you have been interested in clothing for several years) for me they have no place in your suitcase.
And you're going to tell me: but where do I find the unique clothes?
Well, it’s very simple, it’s called a brand’s spring-summer collection!
I know that in France, we tend not to be interested in colorful clothing but in summer, you can let loose a little!
