The softness of Italian luxury
We wanted to dress you in the rustic charm of this tousled wool, but with a knit that is comfortable to wear. So we went on a quest and found a fibre blend that is rarely seen:
- 43% baby alpaca, much softer than regular alpaca, which gives it its unique look, uniqueness, softness and, above all, warmth.
- 19% extra-fine merino wool to add structure to this jumper without compromising the softness of the baby alpaca,
- 38% cotton to add stability, breathability and durability over time.
It took an expert in combining fine fibres to achieve this, and that expert is Filati Naturali. For over 135 years, this Italian spinning mill has been particularly creative. Much to the delight of our skin.
But it is the Italian knitter Visconti who provides the finishing touch: brushing on a vintage machine that gently lifts and pulls the fibres, followed by washing to stabilise and soften the knit, resulting in the softest shaggy effect we have ever felt.
