De Bonne Facture is not just another brand offering good, timeless basics: the research here is much more in-depth so that there is real innovation in styling.

The brand's style is halfway between casual chic and soft tailoring. The brand's style is rather elegant , chic, but not too formal or rigid. Thus, the clothes are rather flexible, in materials which have relief, in rather natural and warm colors.

The brand's products are expensive, being part of high-end ready-to-wear. The price is justified by the research in style, the quality of the materials (mainly from Italian and Japanese suppliers) or the tailoring, which is mainly French . What is not made in France is either made in Portugal (certain shirts) or in Italy (certain knitwear).

Déborah, the founder, spoke on Instagram about the choice not to do everything in France, although initially, that was the case. It indicates that this choice results from a set of factors:

- Lack of qualified workshops in France to make his creations, which are sometimes quite complex

- Minimums requested by certain workshops that are too high, with which the brand could not align

- A cost story too: some workshops being too expensive for the brand

Information on the country of manufacture is clearly specified on each product sheet. The brand even has a dedicated category on its eshop highlighting the workshops with which it works.

The manufacturing is very good and each piece benefits from the know-how of a specialized workshop which brings added value.

Although you can't buy things there, the brand offers rather inspiring pieces and looks and we find it interesting to look at that each season. Please note: the quality/price ratio is logically more interesting with a discount, during sales periods.
