Armor Lux has significant expertise in the pieces that fall into its core business – pea coats and knitwear – for which the quality-price ratio is very good.
The finishes are well thought out (zipped pockets, etc.), and we find the use of beautiful 100% wool sheets.
Inherited from sailor clothing, the cuts are however generous, so much so that we advise you to take one size smaller than yours. In the end, it's quite complicated not to make a mistake on your size when ordering remotely, so trying on in store is recommended.
Armor Lux is a Breton clothing brand, established in Quimper since 1938, where it continues to manufacture part of its production (notably knitwear, but not the famous Arnaud sailor top which is produced elsewhere in Europe...).
Strongly inspired by her Breton origins and the sailors of the Atlantic, she distinguished herself in the creation of peacoats, chunky knits, and sailor tops. Still present in work clothing, it continues to supply certain state or army corps.
The Armor Lux brand now wants to diversify, since in addition to the coats and knitwear that have made it successful, it offers polo shirts, t-shirts, and even suits.
