Italian waffle texture
In the family of textured and summer fabrics, we call for seersucker. It’s characterized by its crinkled texture, which lifts the fabric away from your thighs, providing better breathability. The alternating weave with different tensioned threads gives the fabric its wavy appearance, adding character and uniqueness.
The addition of 3% elastane gives you great freedom of movement, allowing you to comfortably sit cross-legged for all your upcoming picnics. We found this supple and lightweight fabric (180g/m²) from Subalpino, a renowned Italian weaver in the tailoring world, specializing for over 50 years in fancy and textured yarns.
How to wear it
Pair these shorts with the matching double-breasted jacket and a textured casual shirt for a standout summer soft tailoring look. You can, of course, also keep it simple by wearing them with a t-shirt, polo, short-sleeved shirt, and canvas sneakers.
