The brand, a subsidiary of H&M, offers a globally competitive offering in an entry-level/high entry-level segment.

COS offers a style typical of Scandinavian brands: very refined, where long tops, oversize, color blocking or bright colors rub shoulders with very basic plain pieces suitable for everyone.

You will find in each product category rather interesting pieces , whether from a style, textures or colors point of view, all at a reasonable price. We are therefore talking here about shirts, knitwear, pants, jackets, coats.

The brand offers an interesting variety of cuts: on pants for example, you have rather slim as well as rather wide cuts, to suit different tastes and different body shapes.

As always in this price range, be careful about compositions , sometimes containing synthetics, especially on wool clothing.

Anything related to leather is less interesting.

The brand does not really communicate the origin of the fibers used. The countries where each garment is made is not indicated on the eshop. You can mainly find Asian clothing there.

There are therefore ways to get good deals at COS as long as you carefully select your purchases !

The history of the brand COS

COS (for “Collection of Style”) is a brand derived from the giant H&M . Founded in 2007, the label expanded into France from 2009 and now has several stores in Paris and the provinces.

Like its big brother, COS aims to offer collections of basics that are constantly being renewed to keep up with the latest trends. However, the brand is distinguished by a more refined style, focused on more qualitative materials .

Located in a more upscale segment, COS is today a rapidly expanding brand in which the public is showing growing interest. COS offers a complete wardrobe focused on a minimalist, elegant and fluid style.

The brand is located in a slightly more upscale market than H&M, with shirts at €60 and jackets at €200 .
