We may be a digital brand, but as you know, it is very important for us to come and meet you.
Because advising you is still nicer (and useful for you) when we chat over coffee (or Japanese whiskey 😇).
And then, introducing you to beautiful materials is much better when you can touch them! Especially since some of you tell us that they are even more beautiful in real life. So we believe in it and we continue to grow our family of shops: Strasbourg, Strasbourg, we have been waiting for you at 33 rue du Vieux-Marché-aux-Poissons since last Friday 🙋♀️🙋♂️
Strasbourg, obvious!

Because there were many of you waiting for us there. We are therefore very happy to have finally been able to answer the call! (And we know that you also call us from other cities, we are working on it 💪)
And also because there is a whole symbolism behind it: Alsace has a great textile heritage, particularly concerning fabric printing. We also think of Velcorex, who woven our velvet fatigue pants and with whom we have been working for years. Or to Emmanuel Lang, with whom we created our first Oxford shirt, who is also not far away and whom we were able to help with a major challenge last May thanks to your help.
Opening a store in this beautiful region is both an honor for us and a tribute to its heritage... which you will find even in our furniture!
WELCOME TO THE BACKSTAGES!
This is what the facade looked like during the work.
We started with something like this:
To achieve this:
And as with every store, the furniture you see there was not chosen at random.
SHALL YOU SHOW YOU VISIT?
As with most of our clothes, we were inspired by the wabi sabi philosophy :
- The “wabi” evokes the simplicity and asymmetry of nature
- The “sabi” (our favorite) pays homage to the beauty of things altered by time, to the patina of objects and the authenticity that emerges from them.
Concretely, this means that we preferred raw materials, with irregular reliefs like on good Japanese denim and sometimes patinated like a worn canvas.
On this basis of texture, we each time try to nod to the beauty of the region and its architecture.

The furniture in the boutique therefore echoes many things that we find magnificent in Strasbourg:
- The reflection of the little houses on the canal,
- the pink sandstone of the famous cathedral,
- “beaver tail” tiles,
Moreover, in the shop, we had the pleasure of discovering a piece of historical fresco that we decided to highlight.
We did this with Label Experience, who we thank for all their work.
THERE'S NO MORE MISSING ONLY YOU!
Abderrahim (left) and Dimitri (right), who we welcome to the BG team, are waiting for you at 33 rue du Vieux-Marché-Aux-Poissons ✌️
We met ?
" Hello !
I'm Abderrahim, I'm 31 years old and I've always lived in Strasbourg. It is a city that fascinates me with its cultural richness: it is the capital of Europe and its city center is UNESCO listed. I never tire of its streets and its architecture.
What I love about clothing is that each piece is different. We don't choose it by chance, because it corresponds to our personality.
I didn't know BonneGueule at all, but when I was told about it I went straight to do my research and came across the media. This is exactly what I was looking for: a transparent brand, based on product quality, and carefully chosen materials that have a craftsmanship to tell.
There is also the community of clothing enthusiasts who exchange, share their opinions and whom I can't wait to meet!
I am very enthusiastic about the idea of sharing this passion with the people of Strasbourg and passing on my experience to them! "

" Hi, I 'm Dimitri! 33 years old, from Nantes expatriated to Strasbourg for love. I found a warm, welcoming city there, with a strong historical and architectural heritage.
I got to know BonneGueule through the blog around 2014. What I like in clothing beyond the style and cut is the story it tells. Clothing is created to be an extension of oneself and therefore fits perfectly with the story of the person wearing it. ”
And if Alsace is too far for you, tell us where you expect us in the comments 🙋♂️🙋♀️ It’s always useful for us 😉
