Selection: the 2023 Christmas list from the BonneGueule team

Sélection : la liste 2023 de Noël de l’équipe BonneGueule
At BonneGueule, we always believe in the magic of Christmas, and in its Father. We forgot to put a stamp on the envelope for the 2022 gift list. We're going to make up for it this year by putting two to make sure it gets to the North Pole. We will obviously ask for clothes, but not only that. Maybe it will give you some desires and ideas too! Good reading !

Matthias - Community manager and gentleman fisherman

Dear Santa, two years ago, I asked you for an indoor outfit (which I am still waiting for by the way). This time, my desires will turn towards one of my passions. There are gentlemen farmers, but who knows gentlemen fisherman? These guys who, like their land-based cousins, are trying their hand at marine life. And as the saying goes “good workers come with good tools”, so to take the best catches, I need the right equipment.

On the program for this OOTFD (“outfit of the fishing day”):

matthias_liste_noel_2023_1600x484
  • A bonnie bucket hat from Aimé Leon Dore, a 100% wool hat to keep your thoughts clear, yes, waiting for the fish can be a bit long.
  • Facing the elements requires suitable material, surfers use WAX to grease their boards, same fight here with this Barbour outerwear reworked by Brut. Lots of pockets, because you never have enough. Pockets are cool. Shout out to Stéphane (@sideailleurs) and Alexandre (@styledepapa) #passionpoches.
  • A game bag from Brady on Beige, in a fisherman's bag vibe, to put hookers, lures, a knife, a pair of sunglasses, two or three Bisson chocolates, and my phone so as not to miss the call from my wife who will bring me back to reality.

New Balance 993 Broccoli x ALD:

I didn't wait for the Aimé Leon Dore Collab (shot with Action Bronson and The Alchemist) to appreciate the comfort of the 993 (undercut model and that's good!), that's why I would love a second pair!

We know that when we love beautiful clothes we also love beautiful furniture. It is therefore obvious for me to ask the great Santa for this work.

Good mouth

Carhartt Medford Cardigan:

I spotted it on several of my “colleagues” from Carhartt right next to my store and every time I see one of them wearing it I get a little tear in my eye, Santa I don't want to be sad so please man, BRING ME THAT!

Good mouth

Raphaëlle - Store manager in Rennes

Dear Santa, you know my disappointment following our defeat at the Rugby World Cup, so if you could send me two tickets for the first match of the Six Nations, to see the victorious XV (of course!!! ), that would be the best! Yes, I know, it's in Lille, but it will give me a good reason to go visit our beautiful Lille boutique!

In the meantime, I moved. So a little decoration wouldn't hurt my new home. Orange to warm hearts (and my insides)! Please note that in my new apartment, I have a much larger shoe cupboard than in my old one... So I gave you another little idea that might prove useful...

Dear beloved Santa Claus, there are so many things I would like but I know that your back hurts, so I will spare you a bag that is too heavy. Just two accessories that will be very useful for my night outs.

A pair of ankle boots from Sézane, the LOW LENA, that I will wear elegantly with my dresses

Next comes the “Lou” bag to go with my outfit, that would make me very happy

Belgian moccasins

I'm falling on the moccasin side of the Force.

I've been wearing it from time to time for three years, but these last few months it's all I want. No matter what I wear, it always ends in mocs. Even in winter.

I currently have two pairs from GH Bass :

  • Burgundy penny loafers
  • Black horsebit penny loafers (with a metal bar)
penny_loafer_bordeaux_1946x1330
penny_loafer_noirs_mors_1946x1330

And because never two without three, and to change from what I currently have, I am aiming for Belgian moccasins, or “Belgian loafers”.

It comes without a strap on the front and without a platform with visible seams but just with a thin strip of leather: it is a more refined and elegant version of the traditional penny loafer.

In brown suede leather, I think it's very beautiful. Like on this Morjas pair for example:

morjas_the_belgian_brown_suede_1920x1455

A little cheaper, I also found equivalents at Skolyx and Berwick.

Once a Mocs, always a Mocs!!

Beautiful pajamas

This is the kind of purchase that I keep putting off, always having other sartorial priorities.

I prefer to invest in my outfits for going out, rather than those for staying at home. However, I like this idea of hanging around the house in style.

So, maybe this year is the right one?

I know my pajamas will be simple: navy blue with white details.

In an ideal world, it is made of silk.

pajamas_zimmerli_in_silk_1500x2161

Zimmerli silk pajamas. It's beautiful, probably very comfortable and it costs €650

In fact, it will probably be cotton pajamas. It's already good !

Beautiful Derek Rose pajamas, around €300. You can still find much cheaper, obviously.

By day, I'm David, copywriter at BonneGueule.

When night falls, I transform and become David Ghetto. It's my DJ stage name. I found it on my own and I'm very proud of it.

I'm starting to break through. As proof, I did a festival in October, the “BonneGueule Room” it’s called.

I currently own superb Hercules DJ Control Instinct turntables which were left to me by Michel and which are up to my level as a Disc Jockey:

No, this is not a child's toy, even if it looks like one.

To continue my meteoric rise to the top of the charts, Michel (him again) advises me to go to Pioneer with the DDJ SZ model, which has lots of buttons whose function I do not know but which, I am sure, allow you to do lots of funny things.

You can watch this video that shows how to use the beast:

What if I did a featuring with the Black Eyed Peas? Maybe it could work!

Loïck - Sales advisor in Nantes

Dear Santa,

The holidays are approaching, long awaited by some, dreaded by others, for most of us they announce great family reunions. Your grandmother will be horrified by the new tattoo that devours your neck and your curious uncle will subtly try to get to the bottom of you by asking you if you think it is moral to eat oysters and immoral to eat snails...

Fortunately, this is also the time when you can ask just about anything you can think of and be almost certain you won't get anything you want.

Anyway, Santa, it's always nice to dream, so below you'll find my list of wishes.

Above all, I hope that your health is good, that the elves are well and that the glacier on which your factory is perched will have survived this scorching year.

Being well aware that your time is precious, I have made sure to simplify your task by gathering all my wishes in one place, namely at Vivienne Westwood, a genius creator whose death itself will not have been able to extinguish. devouring passion that I devote to her, you can even reserve a place for me next to her in Paradise now (but there is no hurry).

First of all, this little set in wool tartan decorated with a Prince of Wales pattern dear to the heart of the lively designer which will suit me perfectly, I'm sure!

Good mouth

For shoes, I would rather opt for the Rocking Horse Boots which have not aged a bit since their birth in 1985 and which will lift my figure up to meter 70 for the first time in my life.

Good mouth

You can add this year's revisited Marlene jacket, the season promises to be chilly.

Good mouth

That way, I'll be ready for a crazy evening in London (in fact, if you could drop me off in Soho on your way back to Lapland that would be nice).

There you go, I think I've done the trick. Afterwards, if you pass Cartier you can stop and pick me up a trinket, whatever you want, surprise me, I'm not picky. Like Zsa Zsa Gabor “I have never hated a man so much as to give him back his diamonds”.

Don't forget your gloves and a good pair of socks for your tour (we have nice ones at BG if you want), I kiss you,

Loïck

Santa tell me, if you're really there 🎶 . .” Here's another Christmas song for a change from good old Mariah.

You know Santa, I'm a simple man with simple tastes. I am one of those who believe in simplicity as the most beautiful luxury.

Let's talk a little, let's talk well, you know in advance that I'm going to make you a little list to tell you what I want.

cardigan_alan_patchwork_800x1200

This Orange patchwork Alan Cardigan from Beams+.

What could be more effective than a comfortable, elegant and versatile cardigan?

As much for outdoor use, as warm under a blanket with herbal tea and chocolate in front of a good German Christmas TV movie broadcast on M6?

Japanese graphic design

There's nothing better than leafing through a good book. In this case, it is a book focused on Japanese graphics which traces all the cultural motifs and which explains their origins.

And who knows, maybe it could give ideas for future tattoos..?

That'll be it for me Santa, I hope you're not getting too cold with these cool temperatures?

I wish you good luck for this annual journey; we're all counting on you, we know you're a good one!

Alan - Production Assistant

Dear Santa,

I would love to ask my parents for clothes for Christmas but we don't really have the same taste in style anymore. To avoid the crisis by being reimbursed for a poor quality sweater or elastane jeans, I renounce my principles and make you this list.

trousers_pinces_ring_jacket_630x630

These pleated pants from the Ring Jacket brand, can be purchased at Beige Habilleur. Because it's a supreme classic. And even if it's a classic it's also good stuff.

pull_junya_watanabe_norse_store_580x690

This superb JUNYA WATANABE MAN sweater at NORSE STORE.

With a marked jacquard and a good oversized fit for a retro look. I think it would look great with the pants above and a nice cap.

waxed_cotton_shopping_bag_2500x3500

And finally: these waxed cotton bags (available at MAGASIN VIVANT!) so I can do my shopping in stores. And never have to worry about crushed fruit.

Infinitely rewaxable, which guarantees a long lifespan so you no longer use plastic.

Benoit - Co-founder

It's always a difficult exercise for me to list Christmas gifts, especially when I was lucky enough to be able to create an entire capsule of accessories that I would have liked to give myself at Christmas . There are still a few stocks left for some, so take advantage.

Wapta 30 Durston Gear Bag

sac_wapta_30_durston_gear_2000x1500

You can never have enough backpacks! And this one comes from Durston Gear, a small ultra-light “gear” brand that offers tents and bags that have quickly made a reputation among fans of ultra-light hiking (I myself own the X tent Mid 2 places and the Kakwa 40 bag), due to innovative designs and the involvement of its creator.

Recently, Durston released a brand new backpack, the Wapta 30 (for 30 liters). It's a backpack for the day, completely waterproof thanks to its welded seams, and ALUULA Graflyte, this new material in the same vein as the Ultra 200 X used for our pencil case and our fanny pack .

It's a bag that also has a generous waist belt, and that's a big plus for me, because it's often an element missing from ultra-light small bags.

Vollebak mittens

mouuffles_vollebak_1388x1736

I still have a lot of affection for this brand which offers clothing that is certainly expensive, but atypical. And there, they released a pair of mittens covered in Dyneema which intrigued me a lot.

Having recently hiked at -7°C but felt like -15°C due to the wind, I realized to what extent hand protection is an important issue, and the exterior in Dyneema — even if I doubt the real usefulness of such a choice of fabric for mittens - still makes me laugh, in addition to giving a very particular visual appearance, halfway between futuristic and post-apocalyptic mittens.

Derby Pearce Aubercy

derby_pearce_aubercy_1798x2560

Total change of atmosphere with these Aubercy shoes whose peccary leather intrigues me a lot, since it gives them great flexibility.

Indeed, I walk a lot in Paris, and if I have everything I need in casual shoes, workwear, casual or sneakers, to walk 10 km in a day, I lack a more dressed equivalent to swallow kilometers of bitumen.

Certainly, it's a dressy shoe but not too much, interestingly textured, comfortable and truly with a timeless shape. Perfect for a very long walk on a Sunday! And as usual at Aubercy, the quality is impeccable.

Husbands tweed suit

costume_tweed_husbdands_2560x1536

The high-end brand that made me love suits again! Here, she offers a suit in a well-textured English tweed, with the usual characteristics of the brand: a very thick canvas and English fabrics with a real structure for a very clean and marked drape.

To wear with a beautiful western shirt underneath!

Jordan - Creative Manager

A Toast sleeveless sweater

I have only recently known Toast. And I wonder how I could have missed it. It's everything I love in a clothing brand. It makes me think of De Bonne Facture, Margaret Howell, SEH Kelly and BonneGueule. In short, it exudes a job well done.

This Christmas, I'm setting my sights on this knit:

sweater_sans_manches_toast_2000x2822

It costs €235, is 100% wool and made in Ireland. In short, it’s a price but it’s justified.

I have a growing obsession with this type of knit: rustic, old-fashioned, without much embellishment but a rich material, in which there is a lot to see and also... sleeveless.

I tell myself that it's a stylistic trajectory that I haven't explored enough, like Margaret Howell, who still obsesses me.

I would wear this sweater with a white shirt with black stripes and a black tie for example. Or maybe color. Find the color of the small balls of wool and compare them with a similar color for the shirt or tie.

sweater_sans_manches_toast_tshirt_2000x2822

The challenge is not to be too strict. Too austere. And that's why it's a good idea to play on the volume. And also why not combine it with sneakers. Okay, I won't do that. But it's a good idea.

I would add a beret, black loafers (obviously) and a silk scarf to add a touch of sophistication.

It's all a question of balance between registers.

And Merry Christmas to you!

A V-neck sweatshirt, by Aylin Koenig

Santa, this year I made a big decision: no longer settle for stained jogging pants and a holey t-shirt to go to the gym. Yes, that means that I will make a time and financial effort in clothes that far fewer people will see on me. If this continues, I will end up investing in quality underwear.

I don't know what my first Sunday sports ootd will look like, but I'd like this sweatshirt to be one of them:

john_chocolate_720x900

This is the brand's John model.

The open collar gives a retro look that I like. The dropped shoulders are a change from the usual sweatshirts and this brown will easily hide my chocolate bars in moments of weakness.

I can see it with a white tank top underneath, black jogging pants and gray running shoes for example.

An OAS velvet bathrobe

roza_velours_long _dress_1280x1920

It’s the Roza Velor Long Dress.

To stay in the retro spirit, I fell in love with this velvet with its very particular weave.

roza_velours_longue_dress_trame_1280x1920

A blue frame covered with small fluffy orange dots, for a result that flirts dangerously with kitsch. And that's precisely what I like.

roza_velours_longue_dress_mannequin_1280x1915

I can already see myself wrapping myself in its generous dimensions in front of “ The Toy Race” with my Christmas Kinders. So don't disappoint me (please), Santa.

A navy and gold Bowers & Wilkins PX helmet

It seems that in-ear headphones don't do much good for my hearing. And I have a future DJ career to ruin. So I started looking for headphones that would be better for my ears, but also for my eyes.

helmet_bowers_&_wilkins_1166x1299

This one is the coolest one I found for less than 300€. The textures and finishes used are very beautiful. And this combination of blue and gold clearly stands out from the crowd.

helmet_bowers_&_wilkins_marine_or_2000x1500

Tech enthusiasts: lesnumeriques gives it a rating of 4 stars out of 5, I find that correct for such a level of design, rare on the market in my eyes.

Charles - Sales Advisor in Nantes

Joggers from Merz B Schwanen to look your best at the gym.

Whether I like it or not, I have been going to the gym on a relatively regular basis for two years. And for two years I've been dragging around alternately horrible orange shorts and an infamous pair of faded black jogging pants that shrank so much after the first wash that they look like Slimane Ali Express.

However, it's not for lack of loving fashion, as you can imagine, and of constantly trying new things for better or for worse. It's my pure passion. But strangely, when it came time to push cast iron, I always told myself that I didn't care. As if my identity was erased by the beep of the Basic Fit QR code.

And then I came across the “351 army” model from Merz B Schwanen, a brand that weaves on old Loopwheel machines to make absolutely delicious things, and in particular this very pretty “sweatpant” that is obviously old-school. The back pocket, that “tarnished” color, the size of the cut: that makes you want to do Bulgarian splits, right?

jogging_merz_B schwanen_1000x1000

Unfortunately, it's impossible to find it new in XL. So I'm afraid that my horrible polyester tights will follow me for another year. But who knows: that’s what Christmas lists are for, right?

Cécile - Digital marketing manager

A Bangla Begum jewel

Because by giving a piece of jewelry at Christmas you are sure not to make a mistake. For my part, I'm choosing this brand: Bangla Begum, I love the Napoli earrings, and the Illuminated necklace with letters in different colors. The creations are both bling bling and hyper feminine. Fancy but high-end. Here very well worn by actress Noée Abita.

christmaslist_cecile_2023_5042x3473

A Kind of Wish scarf

A pretty scarf from A Kind of Guise, which will protect me from the Parisian or Breton rains, in orange to brighten up our all-gray winter, and easy to pair with my navy coat.

Good mouth

The Balm kiss - Violette_fr

This is the “thoughtful” gift. I wear lipsticks, I have very few but I have always used the same two shades for at least 10 years! For winter, I always put a layer of balm and a lipstick on top. This brand offers exactly this treatment effect, to protect, in addition to enhancing. The shades are pretty, a preference for Amour-Fou or Bêtise.

Cawley leather jacket

I literally fell in love with this English brand recently. They have an incredible “make to order” range. The prices are certainly high but very reasonable when you know the work that is done on this jacket.

Lemaire piped slippers

I'm sticking with the leather jacket, I have a big crush on this rather special pair ;)

Inspired by a traditional Chinese slipper, this pair of Lemaire shoes would suit me perfectly!

Dear Santa,

If you lack inspiration this year, to make things easier, you will find here some gift ideas that would really please me.

A Lucas du Tertre blanket

plaid_hibiscus_sarong_double_bed_900x1200

When I come home on winter evenings, I need to feel in a warm and reassuring environment.

For this, nothing better than a pretty Lucas du Tertre reversible cotton throw which will match perfectly with my pink cotton gauze sheets.

A Pascale Monvoisin necklace

necklace_pascale_monvoisin_1136x1332

For some time now I've been looking for the ideal necklace that works with all my looks.

I like the idea of having a base of discreet and timeless jewelry, which I can put on every day without thinking.

When I saw this Pascal Monvoisin necklace, I knew it was exactly what I needed to adorn my neck.

A DIY leather goods workshop in Pigeoncoq

atelier_pigeoncoq_720x720

While walking around, I came across this great concept which consists of designing your own handbag from a wide choice of models and upcycled leathers, then leaving with your creation.

It's the perfect combo to satisfy both my current desire for manual activities and my love for bags.

Sébastien - Web Editor

Dear Father Kwismas,

I think I was quite spoiled this year: I went to the fourth year of studies, I did an internship with Horace, but above all! I landed a great work-study program at BonneGueule (let me be corporate). But hey, if I can get a little extra, I won't say no anyway.

The stylistic quest is eternal, and this year I decided to focus more on accessories that I sometimes lack to complete my outfits.

Pleated wool pants - Scavini

I have almost always lived with jeans or chinos on my legs, and I would like to vary it a little more. My wardrobe is sorely lacking in pants that are a little more sartorial, but still versatile.

High-waisted pants for my figure (and which will highlight my butt, we're not going to lie), with pleats for the suit/dressy side, and in wool to keep me warm this winter.

And above all, who is straight! I ended up being convinced by the ideas of the SPCDB (the Union of Supporters of the Straight Cut at BonneGueule), I joined them because it's true that straight pants are still cool.

I set my sights on these pants from Scavini :

pants_scavini_wool_cardee_grey_990x990

It's amazing and ticks all my criteria. Well, it seems slightly fitted on the bottom of the legs... But it will be quite easy to combine and mismatch. It costs a little expensive: €270, but it's good quality made in Italy.

I need it for the New Year, so please Papa Kwismas, don't take too long to get it to me. If you're too fair, you can spread the payment with Alma.

A Frédéric Malle perfume, to accompany my outfits

Dressing well (at least trying to) is one thing. But smelling good AND dressing well is another. It adds a certain character, let’s say.

So, I don't know too much about perfume... Like everyone else, I went to a famous black and white brand (Sephora), and settled for big name perfumes, like “Le Mâle” by Gaultier. It's nice, but a bit standard. Or rather common.

This is why, as with the way I dress, I would like to take a step forward and find something that is more creative, and allows me to stand out. As Frédéric Malle states: “each perfume allows, in the same way as a fashion piece or an accessory, to assert its personality or to reveal a hidden facet”.

frederic_malle_parfum_569x910

I like spicy, warm and deep perfumes, which give a note of mystery. And I think I found my happiness with the perfume of the author Michel Roudnitska

It’s called “Noir Épices”, and the 50ml bottle costs €215.

A LeGramme bracelet

And to conclude this little tour of exuberant gifts, I would like to have a bracelet, simple, sober, but effective and luxurious. And I find that LeGramme does it best:

le_gramme_bracelet_argent_brush_1400x1141

A smooth brushed silver bracelet to decorate my arms a little, in the absence of a tattoo.

That's it for my list! Which looks more like a list of priorities than wishes. Don't feel like you have to bring everything Papa Kwismas, do what you can. But hey, don't forget that we live in a world where payment four times without fees exists.

Fanny - Administrative and financial manager

Dear Santa, This year I am rearranging my interior into a little cocoon and to help you here are some gift ideas:

A cashmere throw from The Tartan Blanket Co.

plaid_cachemire_the_tartan_blanket_&_co_481x687

You know my love for Scotland! What could be better for maximum comfort than a cashmere blanket with traditional Tartan patterns to wrap around me like a wrap? It is possible to add embroidery to personalize it. Small bonus, this beautiful Scottish brand donates 2% of each purchase to charitable causes (1% for the planet and 1% for Men).

A Vanity Boum lamp

vanity_lamp_boom_528x581

This Loulou lamp, which looks like a little candy, has been catching my eye for a while and would bring a colorful and delicious note to my interior.

A plant submerged in a Slow Pharmacy bottle

bottle_slow_pharmacy_321x322

I discovered this South Korean brand during one of my trips and I really fell in love with these bottles. I love being surrounded by plants at home and I like this idea of having them encapsulated. I have real plants that I take good care of, I assure you, but this one would bring a little touch of modernity alongside the others.

Raphaël - Deputy manager at Paris 3 (Commines)

Dear Santa,

I think I was good this year. Or at least enough to make (un)reasonable demands. I have recently discovered clothes or accessories that have been catching my eye for too long.

For example…

A Smoking Jacket from Matthew Cookson

I present to you the smoking jacket that I saw recently when I went to my barber (the voyeurs' barber, rue de Grenelle, magnificent place).

This piece comes from Matthew Cookson (which you can find at 11 boulevard raspail), and for the low price of €950, I will take one more step in my quest for dandy.

smoking_jacket_matthew_cookson_941x1137

A belt dyed with natural indigo from Momotaro

Good mouth

I know I know, it's a big whim at €185, but I fell in love with this belt dyed with natural indigo, produced to order, where you can choose the buckle and the pattern which appears on the leather. When we know the patina power of indigo jeans on the one hand, and of leather on the other, I feel that we arrive at a combo with monster potential.

A watch from the Swatch x Omega collaboration

collaboration_swatch_omega_754x1099

I like watches, and it's been a long time since I looked at Swatch models because Seiko captures my attention. But I was immediately hooked on the collaboration with Omega when I discovered it. For €260, it's a bargain!

Sarah - Production manager

Hello Santa! It's been a while since I wrote to you, and it's no longer a letter filled with images of toys previously cut out from the leaflets I send you. No, my tastes have evolved a little, you will see. Here is my wish list for this year, don't hesitate to dip into it.

A handbag – Resap Paris

handbag_recap_563x489

We all know, the 2000s are making their big stylistic comeback and what's more two-millennial than jeans (hello Britney). Needing a new handbag, I set my sights on this magnificent model from the Resap Paris brand, made from upcycled jeans. A definitely winning combo.

A baby Alpaca sweater – Stella Pardo

sweater_stella_pardo_572x520

To protect me from the Parisian cold (I haven't gotten used to it yet as a southerner), this sweater would definitely be my ally. Hand knitted in Peru with 100% Alpaca wool yarn, it would envelop me in its soft warmth and what can I say about this heather!

Pavé ring – Paulette à Bicyclette

Well I grant you, this is a little personal breakdown but in the face of so much beauty what can you do?

paulette_bicycle_bracelet_945x586

A pretty yellow gold ring, which goes better with my golden complexion (not so golden at the moment, I agree but let's move on) with a leaf motif and paved with diamonds. I like to have a little new piece of jewelry every year and I must say that I wouldn't mind this ring.

A word to the wise! See you next year Santa!

Melih - Sales advisor in Paris 6 (Madame)

Hello Mister Claus!

I had the chance to travel quite a bit this year and these trips inspired me a lot. You will therefore find there the fruit of what I was able to hunt and discover in other cities.

Post Archives Faction technical jacket

jacket_post_archives_faction_1049x1443

During my trip to Seoul this year, I had the opportunity to discover the Post Archives Faction brand in more detail and I fell in love with the brand. Initially, the designer was an engineer and he uses the techniques he learned on his clothes. I really like this jacket with this very pale shade. This is definitely my vibe at the moment.

THE MOHAIR - Alyonushka

mohair_alyonushka_1000x1000

I completely fell for this sweater made by Alyonushka, Old Time Fever's second brand. I'm a fan of the cut and the material, so Dear Santa, I'm counting on you.

Varnish Vinyl La Piscine - This Lake Has Success

Good mouth

It's clearly one of the musical projects I've listened to the most this year, the production work is masterful. It contains everything I like, a polished aesthetic, detail and effective melody. It's not for nothing that Pharell and Tyler The Creator are interested in his work. How strong these Swiss are.

Hélène - Production manager

My dearest Santa,

The time when I made my little list for Santa Claus is so long gone!! I have passed the torch to my children now.

I want to curl up in something warm and comforting! The classic sweater from Loom in 100% Merino wool.

pull_loom_678x886

The color is simply magnificent. And when I love, I never leave. And I plan to keep it for years. A little advice my dear Santa, go quickly to the “La Mode à L’envers” blog, it’s fascinating.

To stay in the "manufacture better", a small bag from Valet de Pique.

His name is ALICE.

bag_valet_of_pique_521x610

Everything is made in France! Him too, I promise you, I will keep him for a very, very long time. A beautiful leather that will patina over time!!!

Thank you my little Santa Claus!

Dear Santa,

It is with optimism that I enclose my very precious wish list.
You will find a little lucky charm "ony lapel button" from Chez Rubinacci for €460 because luck is priceless. Each of these precious lapel buttons is braided with a horn to bring luck to the wearer (Neapolitan belief).

A small pair of EDOUARD Brown, a derby in brown smooth calfskin with waxed lace fastening on the front, round toe with tone-on-tone stitching and thick leather sole. 395€.

A handmade vintage 100% Silk Scarf from Passagio Cravatte, €190.

Each of the products was born in the heart of the artisanal workshop of Robbio (a small town not far from Milan).

Hello Santa,

It's hard to make a little Christmas list, when you love clothes, photography and lots of other things that hurt your wallet. But hey, here is my non-exhaustive wish list of things that I have spotted recently, and which would be nicer to have!

A Relax watch

Yes you read correctly, and no it's not a joke!

It was in an article in Where is the Cool magazine that I discovered this brand, and I think the idea is brilliant. “The alter ego of luxury is parody” is what we can read on the home page of relaxwatchshop.com. I find the process super interesting to make fun (with style) of people who still think that success is a Rolex on their wrist (I'm not taking into account the real enthusiasts) and to show that we have succeeded better than a other.

So I want a Relax, made by real enthusiasts in California, and with Seiko components (it's not a fake Barbès watch).

A beautiful photo book

I already have a lot, but one more doesn't hurt, right? The book WOMEN by Slim Aarons, which explores the central subject of Slim Aarons' career: the extraordinary women of high society, the arts, fashion and Hollywood. Like, the golden age of Hollywood, what else?

And to finish

A pass for the Monaco Grand Prix would be nice! It's an incredible circuit for F1 fanatics, and an experience I think will be unforgettable. It's not great in terms of climate and C02 emissions, but no one is perfect...

The whole team wishes you a wonderful end-of-year celebration. We hope that Santa Claus will come and bring you everything you have asked for.

We have lots of great things in store for you in 2024, stay tuned!

Sebastian.
