For several years, the first version of Léo and Violette's New Satchel has accompanied me everywhere with unfailing fidelity. At the time, I had the chance to test it for BonneGueule.
This photo dates from July 2014. Almost 3 years later, Florian's schoolbag has not aged a bit, only a delicious patina.
Since then, the vegetable leather has weathered really well and it still holds up. However, I am far from sparing him: he follows me everywhere with my Macbook Air inside.
Today, without being tired of my schoolbag, I want a change! I would like a more practical alternative, especially to have my hands free. And guess what? I fell in love with a backpack from the same brand ...

This time, I would rather opt for blue as it is a versatile color. While my camel satchel was sometimes difficult to pair, I'm sure this navy one will go perfectly with just about everything .

Geoffrey: watch out
I live right next to a Chevignon boutique and, while passing in front of the window, I came face to face with this t-shirt . I immediately fell under the spell and I admit that this slightly faded camo pattern caught my eye...
The embroidered felt logo at the bottom right adds a little extra to this Chevignon t-shirt.
Small problem: my girlfriend clearly hates it! So, I showed cowardice for the good of my relationship... Yes, love deserves some concessions.
Geoffrey therefore passes by a room that smells like summer.
A 100% cotton jersey t-shirt, a round crew neck, a subtly blended camouflage print... all the ingredients came together to obtain a light, reliable piece with a nice design . Do me a favor: if you buy it, at least think of me a little...
Julien, at the crossroads of inspirations
Personally, I really fell in love with this artisan studio piece . I really like its design and I am sensitive to the work on the material. There is also an interesting thought in terms of creation since it is original to imagine a bomber shape with denim material.
For Julien, it is interesting to mix influences.
While the design of the bomber, inspired by the Flight Jacket MA-1, refers to the military imagination, the choice of material takes us more towards casual streetwear. This antagonism gives this piece a very particular identity , and I like that!
The lining is so beautiful that we almost regret that the jacket is not reversible.
Inside, I was also seduced by the authentic lining whose color, full of nuances, subtly echoes the blue of the denim.
If I had to have some reservations, I would say that I would have preferred a slightly smaller collar and slightly lower ribs at the bottom... but I'm splitting hairs.
In short, it is a garment full of personality and made from quality materials . For me, we are close to flawless!

Charlotte: the bomber and the butter money
Recently, I got the "Standard Bomber" from the eponymous house, and I'm really happy with it. For me, it is an essential piece of wardrobe, both for men and women.

Very sober, it nevertheless evokes a rich imagination and brings great added value to a look . I like this minimalist interpretation even more because it displays a very intense blue.
100% cotton, it is quite light and is an irreplaceable companion for cool summer evenings or afterwork drinks on the terrace.

Florian, clear and clear
It's been a while since I was looking for THE well-cut casual jean that could find a place alongside my raw fabrics. I wanted it in an elegantly faded material to push the relaxed slider as much as possible.
I was having a hard time finding what I was looking for... until I came across these Harmony jeans .
Florian's latest purchase: Donovan light blue denim from Harmony.
I love the vintage casual spirit it exudes and it has clearly brought a breath of fresh air to my wardrobe. I really like this subtle wash which brings a nice touch of originality to a very classic piece .

It's very simple: I won't leave it anymore! Whether it's its style, its design or the flexibility of its canvas, it's perfect for sunny days and I'm totally addicted to it.
Geoffrey: quiet strength
I wanted (and needed) summer pants that were light enough to be worn in hot weather and versatile enough to integrate into elegant or more casual outfits.
I found what I was looking for at Officine Générale and I bought these pants .
Recently, Geoffrey went to the checkout wearing these Officine pants.
True to my taste for textured materials, I opted for a seersucker which has the advantage of being both light and well ventilated . The small embossed effect brings personality to the piece, which contrasts with the classicism of the design and cut. I am very happy with it and it faithfully accompanies me throughout the hot Parisian days.
As you get closer, you can better see the very particular texture of seersucker, a summer material in essence.
Even though they are suit pants, I wear them cool with a t-shirt and my black biker jacket. This piece fits easily into casual looks and you will have no trouble taming it , whatever your influences.
In any case, I am delighted with this purchase and even more happy to share it with you!
Julien has his back full
I had a fairly clear idea of the type of bag I wanted to replace the one I had been carrying around for several years: I needed one with a large cotton canvas, which was small enough but large enough to accommodate my PC. .
When I saw this SANDQVIST bag , with its 18oz canvas and authentic handwork, I knew it was the one!

All the criteria are met: the format is quite small, there is space for my computer, a big thick drawstring, leather finishes... I love it, I agree!
Furthermore, I like the handles because they are rather thin, therefore quite discreet and minimalist. Regarding the color, I think this navy is really nice. No worries about combinations: this color goes with everything.
Navy blue, leather finishes, fine handles: all the ingredients are there for Julien.
Since I've had it on my back, I've found it super comfortable and I'm very satisfied with it. We'll see, in the long run, if the leather relaxes and if the lack of fastening on the front is problematic, but I'm not worried!
The grain of madness
It's a fantasy shared all over the world: that of having an unlimited budget to choose THE room of our dreams! This wish, particularly intimate, I suggested to Charlotte, Florian, Geoffrey and Julien to grant it for the duration of a section. They took part in the game and offered us their ultimate stylistic trip.
Charlotte and her precious
Tant d'avenir is a confidential brand that I have been following with great attention for a while. It offers a very particular universe studded with jewels full of enthusiasm. Decorated with beautiful stones or old coins, they have a very marked identity and I am really sensitive to that.
To the attention of Charlotte's darling: to put the ring on his finger, choose this model!
Entirely handmade, each piece is a work of art. Personally, my crazy move would be to get this twisted silver ring , set with a pretty lapis lazuli. I find the work authentic and the model very original: I don't need more!
Inspector Florian
If I were given carte blanche to choose the piece that makes me dream the most at the moment, I would without hesitation turn to this trench coat from the Japanese brand Cohérence.
Florian's touch of madness!
I am completely seduced by this slightly oversized cut, these large lapels, and above all by the exceptional quality of the material and the manufacturing. Cut from an exclusive fabric, this jersey is almost wrinkle-free, quite thick and very supple! Enough to stay warm... and dry.

As usual, the Japanese leave no room for chance. All the details are thought out and scalped with surgical precision : removable herringbone tweed collar, wool lining, horn buttons, raglan sleeve that flatters your shoulders... and the list goes on and there are some of the best.
In short, you understand: it's a man's trench coat elevated to the state of a masterpiece!

For me, the design is very successful and the tailoring really well executed. While we see bombers popping up everywhere, I find that this suede piece is very original without being difficult to wear . The fawn color has beautiful highlights and the contrasting ribbed edges bring a bit of welcome sophistication.

Even from behind, the piece is correctly structured and the fit appears coherent. We see all the depth of the nuances of this suede leather, very pleasant to the eye. The materials are beautiful, the finishes are clean, the garment aesthetic, the hand very rich ... what more could you ask for?
Julien, proud as a pant
A stroke of madness? Unlimited budget? Without a shadow of a doubt, I rush to Brunello Cucinelli and buy these wool sweatpants .
What do you think of Julien's madness?
For me, it really is the ultimate casual chic item. On a single piece, we find both the fabric of city clothing and casual inspirations such as the cut and details .
We've been seeing these types of pieces at Pitti for several seasons now, and it's not surprising to see that the entire market has been inspired by the trend.
This one particularly interests me for several reasons:
- its carrot shape with its 2 clips on the front to wear it looser if necessary,
- its elasticated belt and its patch pockets on the back for a casual look,
- its visual stripe which brings character to the silhouette,
- its little suede finishes on the ends of the drawstring, a pleasant creative touch!
- her very beautiful hand, even if you don't necessarily realize it in the photos,
