Today, I have prepared three nuggets for you which, together, form a complete outfit.

The theme of the look? “The sartorial adventurer”. Or even, "the elegant adventurer", or even "the city explorer"...

Yes, you get the vibe don’t you?

A perfect outfit for cutting vines in the jungle, climbing hills while playing the harmonica... Or simply offering you the pleasure of imagining these scenes, and granting you their aura, via the superpowers of the garment.

I like to think that it is "the most banal of original ideas" in summer, that is to say an easy and commonly accepted way to seize a stronger, more connoted sartorial register. That's not a bad thing: it means it works. This selection is a lot of character, with very little risk-taking... Except perhaps the last piece!

Bermuda shorts (or shorts) - Yeossal

A Singaporean brand, which is starting to make a name for itself for its ability to offer very good quality, and rather affordable, tailoring.

I ordered two, one in linen and one in cotton.

Gurkha, gurkhashort, gurkhargo, gurkhajama, gurkhaparci, gurkhaparlà... The cotton model, in Gurkha mode.

These shorts are available in MTO, i.e. "made to order": it's not half measures , but it still allows a certain level of customization.

Such as the presence or absence of a cuff at the bottom of the leg, the choice of leg length, the number of pockets at the back, Italian or French darts, and above all, the choice of fabric. They have a beautiful color palette.

light gray linen shorts

The linen model, designed here with the curved closure, which is a bit of a “signature” of the brand. I hesitated for a long time between this one and a Gurkha, in fact.

It is therefore not so much one product that I am offering you here, but rather a multitude of possible products!

But come on, I'll spill the beans and tell you the options I chose for myself: a blue seersucker gurkha for a cotton model , and an elasticated belt with drawstrings for a "speckled olive" linen model .

And precisely because there are three length options, I would like to point out that this piece can be, depending on your wishes, shorts or Bermuda shorts .

I'm also planning to test a polo shirt from the brand and Gurkha pants, around the start of the school year. They seem very promising to me.

Utility shirt - ABCL Garments

light blue chambray shirt with chest pockets

I like this chambray, and then this “placket” throat, which combines hidden buttons on one part of the shirt, and visible buttons on the other.

Not content with already being beautiful and easy to wear, this ABCL shirt can also boast of being a versatile purchase: to wear rolled up sleeves this summer, long sleeves when it's cooler, and even layered in mid-summer. season, since the two pockets will give it an "overshirt" look, without it having the weight.

Clever, right?

And then, if you were wondering: obviously you're going to tuck it into the Yeossal shorts! It goes without saying: it will allow you to highlight your waist, and offer you a touch of coquetry if you have chosen a slightly original closure style, which you will thus reveal. Gurkha, with curved closure, drawstrings and elasticated waistband... It will work well whatever happens, don't worry.

Pockets will be a welcome ornament to bring a little visual structure, especially in summer when our style can be impoverished by the small number of pieces we wear.

Japanese cotton bandana - A Piece of Chic

This model also has the advantage of being a little lighter than their other scarves. That's good, it's going to be hot...

Good. Evil tongues will say that between the high-waisted shorts, the scarf and the pocketed shirt, I made a scout outfit, as much as an adventurer.

Maybe the evil tongues aren't wrong, but... who said scouts weren't stylish? Who decides that, right?
And then, let's not exaggerate, I neither suggested knee-highs to wear with the shorts, nor to choose the shirt in the same fabric to make a little uniform.

So let's calm down, evil tongues! And honestly, have you seen how beautiful this scarf is?

Blue, black, gray, white, which easily calm the rare touches of gold. And I won't hide from you that being able to wear dragons in my outfit, in a subtle, discreet way, and even invisible to a lazy eye, gives me a provocative pleasure that I don't hide...

Japanese cotton green bandana
Especially when we know that this legendary creature has acquired the worst stylistic reputation in the West.

From a more pragmatic point of view, this assembly of neutral colors will make it easy to insert this original pattern into an outfit. All you need to do is wear a top that is in one of its colors: navy t-shirt, white casual shirt, gray henley, black polo shirt... No, not the black polo shirt, especially not.

I also remind you that, to my knowledge, A Piece of Chic still remains one of the only brands that produces men's scarves with original prints, in a rather confident taste, and in beautiful cottons. We are quickly limited when we want to move away from the classic "bandana" print .

Of my four scarves, three currently come from home. Take a look at the other models if you want to start wearing this accessory!

They are also delivered with their leather scarf holder.

But... what about the shoes, then?

It's true that I promised a complete outfit...

But firstly, a summer adventurer sometimes goes barefoot. Second, I think any pair of non-formal shoes in your closet will work just fine.

And finally... The Editorial Nuggets stop at three. This is the rule of the game!

Good luck on your summer adventure.
