BonneGueule imports Unbranded Brand from Naked&Famous

Test: Tumi, innovation for travel Reading BonneGueule imports Unbranded Brand from Naked&Famous Next Test: Saint Sens tailor-made shirt

Unbranded Brand, remember it? When we met Brandon, the founder of Naked & Famous , he introduced us to his selvedge line at low prices. He never hid the fact that they were made in China, but with a lot of cool features: rivets on the back pockets, bar tacks, chain stitch hems, etc. The problem is that the brand was not distributed in Paris and very little in France .

Since then, things have changed a little, because BonneGueule brought them in and found a store to distribute them. And not just any one since it’s Ly Adams 😉

In fact, Ly Adams was immediately very keen to distribute them and they thus became the only Parisian point of sale for this brand. For €90, you have raw jeans with unbeatable value for money:

The blank label, which symbolizes the brand's desire to center itself
solely on the product, banishing the slightest hype.

The same goes for the inside of the jeans, which are not branded.

A beautiful edging with the very visible chain stitch.

The finishes are very reasonable considering the price.

Nice ! How is the cut?

It's a fairly classic cut, halfway between the semi-slim and the straight cut (a "semi-semi-slim"?). Judge for yourself with Geoffrey's photos:

Here we are testing the UB 201 model.

(yes, the hem hasn't been done yet)

Go for it if you have slightly strong thighs,
the cut is perfectly suited for this type of body shape.

By the way, we released the t-shirts last Friday, and it didn't take you 24 hours to rob our entire little production. So we'll be bringing them out soon! In the meantime, the first batch left this morning.

And how do jeans age?

For some reason it washes out very quickly and very well . In 3 or 4 months you already have beautiful mustaches at the fly.

The only point of attention: be careful not to turn your shoes or t-shirts blue when you start wearing them, because it fades quite a bit at first. This is something normal on raw jeans, but the Unbranded Brand does it a bit more than the others. So don't hesitate to wash it once or twice to eliminate the problem.

That being said, look at what you can get for $90 and some heavy-duty shipping:

Stronger than a Rick Owens or a Prps, for less than an APC.
The pleats at the knees and fly are beautiful.

More artisanal photo but jeans just as pretty.

Once again, the canvas ages really well.

If you don't have much of a budget but want a nice Japanese canvas that will age well, you won't be able to find better 😉

Unbranded brand jeans are only sold for €90 at the Ly Adams boutique, 11 rue Vieille du Temple, Paris and in certain regional multi-brand vouchers. You can also sometimes find them on Farfetch.fr at the same price (if you include shipping), but as usual it's better to try them first.
