Tanner Goods

Our opinion

The Tanner Goods offering today includes numerous accessories: leather bracelets designed to patina quickly, wallets and even very beautiful vintage-inspired backpacks.

In terms of quality-price ratio, the brand positions itself very coherently and is placed between the middle and high end of the range: count around thirty euros for a bracelet, a little over 300 euros for a bag.

At this price, rest assured, you are getting extremely durable products that the patina should improve over time.

The history of the brand Tanner Goods

Founded in 2006 by two American friends, Tanner Goods is today an essential reference for those looking for high-quality leather accessories.

Having grown up in the wild plains of Oregon, the two creators were quickly inspired by the artisanal tradition of their environment: they spent their time in various workshops before discovering leather processing through the experience of shoemaker L. Streifel.

Their crush is immediate: the beauty of the leather and its patina play a huge role, but it is also the quasi-religious ritual which accompanies its treatment by the artisans which fascinates the friends who have become engineers. Shortly after, Tanner Goods was born.

The objective: to offer a collection of leather products designed in the United States using environmentally friendly methods. While workwear fashion marks its comeback, the brand is developing rapidly: it is approached by many famous tanneries such as Horween and signs partnerships with other small niche brands such as Tellason or Danner Boots.

Currently, the 100% American label continues to expand while innovating to offer high quality at a consistent price. While its distribution in France remains limited, it is widely established in Great Britain and Germany where its accessories are displayed in the most beautiful multi-brand boutiques.
