LodinG is a French shoe brand. For €210, you will find pairs of honorable quality in GoodYear stitching, made in Europe in relatively clean leather and in balanced shapes.
The offering is classic (derbies, brogues, buckles, moccasins, boots) but that's not a bad thing: there's no great risk of making mistakes.
One of the great advantages of LodinG is to be well established physically in France , more than some of its direct competitors. If you live in a mid-sized city and want to try on shoes before buying them, chances are LodinG is the best place near you.
Two things to note:
- Prices have been increasing steadily in recent years . At the start of 2010, the pair cost €160. The price then increased to €180, €195 to now be €210. The quality/price ratio unfortunately decreases a little, but the offer still remains relevant.
- However, since 2019, the brand has offered a range of shoes at €140 . The GoodYear sewn is swapped for a Blake sewn, which is less expensive to make. This is an acceptable concession with a view to having a more accessible offer. This range has not yet seen a price increase.
In conclusion, LodinG is a good gateway to the world of beautiful shoes.
Created in 1998 in Paris , Loding is a French brand (as its name does not indicate) which has made city shoes its trademark.
With its unique pricing policy, it offers more than fifty models of leather shoes , alternating between Goodyear and Blake construction.
If Loding's core business revolves around shoes, the brand has diversified and now offers a more complete wardrobe based on polo shirts, shirts, socks and accessories.
