Panoply

Our opinion

La Panoplie offers a very extensive range of men's wardrobe basics.

The brand boasts its American influences and its attachment to streetwear culture, hence the sometimes (too) generous cuts.

Positioned in a classic mid-range niche, the label offers European manufacturing and quality materials from Italy or Japan.

However, we can regret a slightly high price on the t-shirts and some sweatshirts.

And some cuts are sometimes very loose or random sizing from one piece to another.

The history of the brand Panoply

Founded in 2008 , the French label “La Panoplie” is the new adventure of creators Olivier Sudre and Gérald Rossi.

Inspired by American fashion, Hollywood spirit and Italian nonchalance , “La Panoplie” was initially launched at People's Rag, the two friends' Montpellier boutique.

Revisiting the basics of the men's wardrobe, the brand's collections aim to offer functional products with unexpected characteristics : a beautiful M65 in linen or pants with a discreet "camo" pattern for example.

Combining purity of materials and comfort, the brand developed rapidly and, after a few years, represented one of the sure values of the French new wave : one foot in classic ready-to-wear and the other in fashion shows.
