Kiton's ready-to-wear is among the most beautiful and luxurious in the world, for an absolutely stratospheric price starting at 3,500 euros per suit, and going to more than 30,000 euros for a vicuna coat.
This price is explained by exclusive, high-quality fabrics, English or Italian, as well as work carried out entirely by hand, requiring an average of 25 hours of production.
Luxury exudes in the smallest finishes. For example, buttons are sewn on the stand with silk thread.
Shirting is not left out since each piece requires at least 6 hours of work with only two steps in the machine.
The style is resolutely Italian, fitted while remaining flexible and comfortable, focused on color and the use of patterns.
Afterwards, “it costs an arm and a leg”. You will not be looking for value for money but rather a unique product at Kiton.
Unlike many of its competitors in the luxury tailoring market, the Kiton house is very young, having been born in 1968 .
Ciro Paone, then aged 23, began making very high-end suits for wealthy clients and surrounded himself with the best tailors in the region.
Currently based in Arzano, near Naples, the factory employs more than 300 tailors , for a production of 20,000 suits per year, or around 70 per day.
Kiton has also created a tailoring school within its immense factory, from which it draws the majority of its tailors.
Since 1990, the company has diversified its activity and now produces ties, perfumes, sportswear and even shoes.
Historically oriented internationally, generating more than 30% of its sales in the USA, the house now has 50 stores around the world , including two in Paris.
