Jules

Our opinion

The quality of Jules clothing is quite random but you can find decent products, especially cotton pieces (t-shirts, shirts, chinos, etc.) or even blazers if you search carefully and focus on the rare ones. 100% natural fabrics.

The Gentle Factory line is a little more interesting but offers few pieces.

In short, Jules is a large entry-level ready-to-wear brand which can be a relevant alternative for finding some affordable basics, but you shouldn't ask for more.

The history of the brand Jules

The brand was created in 1991 by the Camaïeu group and was originally called “Camaïeu Homme”. In debt, it was bought five years later by the Mulliez family association with the obligation to change its name: it became “Jules”.

The brand enjoyed rapid success and established itself almost everywhere in France, but also abroad.

Today, it has more than 400 stores around the world, including more than 350 in France. The brand is mainly aimed at young men aged 18 to 30 and offers a rather casual - streetwear wardrobe at low prices .

Although still low-end, Jules is making more and more efforts to improve quality and position itself as one of the major players in entry-level men's ready-to-wear . The quality is evolving little by little but the changes still remain slight.

She also created a secondary line called "La Gentle Factory" which offers more expensive clothes but of a little better quality... and made in France.
