Our opinion
Claudio Mariani pants are a big yes! The fabrics are beautiful. They exude quality. Without being "exceptional materials" either (with rare fibers, ultra-worked patterns and textures...) are beautiful mid- and high-end fabrics, skilfully selected, and with a dose of originality for part of between them. The details are quite impressive. And remind us why Italian manufacturing is far from having said its last word: the closure systems, linings, and other tightening tabs carefully thought out and created. The silhouettes should make many people agree: among those offered by the brand, there are looser and more fitted ones, and the latter tend to have a flattering fit, but without ever veering too far. slim or skinny. The adaptation of said cuts is skilfully carried out: from four measurements taken on pants that fit you well, you will have a very nice result. The quality/price ratio is advantageous: given the fact that it is tailor-made, you are rather average or even low average of what pants in these fabric ranges would cost. And yet you have Italian manufacturing, a style proposition and a level of detail that you normally wouldn't find at this price. The only real disadvantage compared to a classic half-measure brand is that you cannot request alterations, and they will be at your expense. So be careful with your measurements, and don't hesitate to ask any questions the brand needs.
The history of the brand Claudio Mariani

Claudio Mariani is a brand manufacturing tailor-made men's pants, entirely made in Italy.

It is a company located in the province of Salerno, near Naples in Italy, and run by the two Mariani brothers: Claudio, the entrepreneur, and Nicola, a pattern maker and designer trained in Naples who joined in 2009.

It began as a workshop that subcontracted the production of Italian luxury brands, with a long history as a family business since the origins of the project date back to Claudio and Nicola's mother, Rosaria, an expert in manufacturing. pantsuit who ran a boutique with his brothers from the 50s to the 70s.

Their own brand of half-measures is a diversification of their activity.

It offers several "fits" which are in fact individual designs with their own details (pockets, closure) and whose cut volumes are already thought out.

These can be made in a selection of fabrics that cover winter, summer and mid-season, available without distinction from one season to the next. (No collection.)

Prices range from €150 (simple models, cheaper fabrics, especially summer fabrics) to €230 for the most complex models on the most expensive fabrics.

And finally, if it is possible to buy these same pants in standardized cuts, customization of the fit is free, offered at no additional cost.
