Camoshita

Our opinion
There is an undeniable flair in Camoshita's collections and in each piece produced. Lots of tailoring but always treated in the coolest way possible both in the cut and in the material which will be fluid rather than rigid. Never anything too smooth at Camoshita either. Simple from a distance and more interesting the closer you get. Jackets are often crossed to differentiate themselves. They can also be mesh. Long coats often feature a discreet but very present pattern. Sweaters are always tasteful without being boring. In short, a lot of style work. But the quality/price ratio in all this? Well, for this brand we must go beyond this overly restrictive relationship. The prices charged are stratospheric and sometimes quite inexplicable! We are thinking, for example, of a jacket whose material is composed of 34% polyester, 35% acrylic and 31% wool and whose price is displayed at €417. No, it's too much for what it is. But we console ourselves with the style of the piece which gives you nonchalance and cool in spades. This is the paradox. That said, most of the pieces that we know of are made in Japan and the finishing of the clothes is exemplary. And many of the brand's clothes are made from high-quality fabrics: wool-silk suits, wool-alpaca-silk sweaters and linings, often in 100% cupro or 50% cupro and 50% cotton. Cupro is even more silky and soft than viscose; it is generally found on very high-end products. Camoshita is a brand that is quite inaccessible in price, for which we allow ourselves to dream of owning a piece for which we will find an alternative elsewhere, often made with less flair. What a heartbreak! Otherwise, there are still sales. But you have to be sharp. In general, the brand's pieces do not stay on the virtual shelves of e-shops for long.
