Update March 2024: the Burton of London brand has ceased its activity, having been placed in compulsory liquidation.
Burton of London is an often underestimated brand.
Don't be fooled by its daddy brand image, a lot of work has been done on styling recently to offer more modern products.
That said, not everything is worth taking, and we advise you to shop around for jackets and suits which are their most interesting pieces.
Burton opened its first store in Chesterfield, England under the management of Montague Burton in 1900.
After the Second World War, the brand became popular with the general public and became one of the first manufacturers of civilian clothing given to soldiers going abroad.
Initially reserved for men, Burton released a line of clothing for women in 1946. It continued to expand internationally and it was only natural that it arrived in France in 1964.
Today the brand offers classic clothing with a British influence and has been struggling to modernize its image for several years.
