Bonobo

Our opinion
At Bonobo, some basics made from natural materials are good to have. Regarding the rest, we recommend that you move on for the majority of the parts. Indeed, the quality of the clothes is very basic. You won't find any interesting materials or elaborate finishes there. Style-wise, the basics have an acceptable design. Other pieces with patterns and other prints are rarely in good taste. As for the cuts, they are not always successful. You will therefore have to do it on a case by case basis. We still salute the brand's CSR efforts, in particular its collection of ozone-washed jeans and their pieces made from recycled materials. However, we note a certain contradiction: Bonobo seeks to make us aware of the environmental impact of our consumption, while encouraging frequent purchases by offering discounts on the return of worn jeans (shouldn't they simply be repaired? ) and the proposition of unsustainable clothing.
The history of the brand Bonobo

Bonobo is a French entry-level ready-to-wear brand founded in 2006 by the French group Beaumanoir .

Available in nearly 350 physical stores and on its e-shop, the brand offers a complete casual wardrobe for men and women.

Offering a collection made from eco-responsible materials, Bonobo communicates a lot about its CSR commitments. Which makes it one of its main marketing arguments. The brand also encourages its customers to consume responsibly, and also works with several solidarity associations including Restaurants du Coeur.
