Quite simply one of the most beautiful high-end leather brands on the market, and undoubtedly the most competitive in its price segment.
By sourcing the same leather references as those of the most beautiful luxury brands, as well as manufacturing in a most prestigious Parisian workshop (also a luxury manufacturer), Atelier Bertrand achieves the feat of offering a product that you don't normally see in these price segments.
With an offer starting under 1000 euros for a jacket, the brand can boast of being three to five times cheaper for products equivalent to those of the biggest names (and sometimes even better since the latter tend to outsource the production of jackets).
The velvet goatskin is soft, splendid, durable and the colors are shimmering.
The dipped lambskin reveals the natural shine of very beautiful leathers (it is also the same as that of some of the most popular women's handbags in the world... Find out which ones...). It has the added advantage of being able to withstand an occasional shower without the slightest problem, where most lambs immersed find themselves irreparably tarnished.
The manufacturing is meticulous, as you would expect on this type of product, and the models are diverse and customizable enough that you are sure to find one to your liking.
The brand does not, however, do the "retro" / "reproduction" style, such as can be found at The Real McCoy's or Aero Leather, which use much thicker leathers for a more "rough-cut" look. and in a more military or vintage spirit, faithful to period models.
Regardless, if you are lucky enough to be able to invest in a very nice leather jacket, this is undoubtedly one of the best addresses you could find.
The history of the brand Atelier Bertrand
Atelier Bertrand is a high-end leather jacket brand founded in 2018, and entirely managed by its founder: Jérôme Bertrand.
It offers French-made leather jackets from 990 euros, made to order and allowing you to choose between various colors of goat suede or lambskin.
More advanced customization options are also available (half-measure, alterations, different metalwork, more precious leathers such as velvet reindeer...), and the founder offers to make an appointment in Paris for those who would like to try and discover (without obligation to purchase).
The brand also offers small leather goods accessories (belts, card holders, etc.).
