After the first episode with Lahiru Weladawe, we continue our "Entre Amis" (Among Friends) series, this time with Elie Béranger, manager and sommelier at Folderol. Nestled in the 11th arrondissement of Paris, this unique place stands out with its singular concept, bringing together a wine cellar and an artisanal ice cream shop under one roof.

For this spontaneous and natural photoshoot, we wanted to capture our garments in an everyday setting, in a work environment. We dressed Elie in comfortable, durable fabrics, ideal for manual tasks while still ensuring a polished and professional appearance in front of customers.
A true wine enthusiast, Elie considers himself lucky to turn his passion into a profession, showcasing and narrating the story of all the bottles he carefully selects, just as we take pride in conveying our love for clothing through our creations.
As we chat, we discover that his keen eye extends beyond wine to fine clothing and quality fabrics. When he dresses, comfort is a priority, but never at the expense of elegance. « You never wear a garment as well as when you feel perfectly at ease in it », he tells us.

While exploring our collection, Elie shares a common challenge: as an athlete with muscular thighs, finding appropriate trousers isn't always easy. After several fittings, he finally finds the perfect match with our Renji jeans and their regular fit, which he wears in the photos. They remind him of some vintage jeans he loves, offering a comfortable fit while maintaining a well-defined silhouette.
Elie also tells us about his appreciation for vintage t-shirts, which he often customizes by cropping the hem to better suit his frame. He enjoys pairing them with more refined pieces, like here with our navy Otranto jacket, which will be part of our next collection launch in March.
