The waxed jacket, reimagined

The Tucson is our modern take on the waxed jacket. Its style goes hand in hand with functionality: the four front patch pockets add presence to your silhouette while keeping your everyday essentials within easy reach.

Also worth noting is the YKK two-way zipper, which allows you to adjust the opening from the bottom — either for a styling effect or to free up movement at the hips when seated.

How to wear this jacket

Casual, Ivy, streetwear or sportswear — it’s up to you to make the Tucson your own. It pairs just as well with a sweatshirt, jeans and sneakers as it does with an Oxford shirt, chinos and loafers.

A Scottish waxed cotton like no other

We chose a different approach to waxed cotton. While traditional coated canvases are full of charm and history, they are often quite heavy, with a greasy handfeel, and the wax can evolve over time — migrating, seeping, or even stiffening the fabric.

With the Tucson, we wanted to offer you a waxed cotton jacket that is easier to live with and to wear every day. Its fabric has a more matte appearance and a drier touch, while still preserving everything that makes waxed cotton so appealing: its water repellency and its ability to develop a unique patina over time.

This material is achieved thanks to an innovative finishing process that uses a limited amount of wax, then softens the fabric in a large fulling drum, ensuring greater comfort once on your shoulders.

We turned to none other than Halley Stevensons for this fabric. Founded in 1864 in Dundee, this renowned Scottish textile house is one of the pioneers of waxed cotton. Still 100% independent, it continues to handle its R&D, dyeing, and finishing operations at its historic site.
