The ideal overshirt replaces both your sweaters and your jackets. That’s why we made it from thermoregulating and breathable wool. You’ll enjoy it just as much on mild afternoons at the office as on cool evenings outdoors, opening or closing it as you please.

The ideal overshirt is also as comfortable as a sweater. Our Italian knitter, Manifattura Tessile Toscana (or MTT, for short), has been knitting its wool in jersey form for over 40 years. The wool is then immersed in water, which tightens the knit and brings out the unique texture of boiled wool — dense yet supple, with a natural stretch that feels wonderfully comfortable to wear.

The ideal overshshirt also adds character to your outfits — that of a dense, authentic boiled wool. And because it’s lined with soft cotton jersey, it doesn’t itch at all, even when worn over a T-shirt.

Details & finishes
GOTS is the most recognized label for organic cotton. It ensures: environmental respect, traceability of raw materials, social criteria such as wage levels and employment stability.
Made in Germany, as the thread is in this mini channel, it is effectively protected from friction. And most importantly, they are mounted with a shank for extra durability (and not sewn directly into the fabric).
