The Volpaia has a slightly fitted cut, refined and perfected over many years by our product team.

Our goal: to create a shirt that follows your sides harmoniously and flatters your silhouette, while still leaving enough room (especially at the shoulders and arms) for you to move freely.

Elegance or casual? Both!

Its slightly fitted cut and Italian collar make it easy to wear this shirt in a more elegant way—tucked into trousers and paired with a blazer, for example.

But with its heathered texture and neutral color, you can also wear it untucked in more casual outfits, with a T-shirt, a jacket, and chinos.

You won’t want to take it off

This cotton twill has been passed through rollers fitted with fine teeth that gently raise its surface. The result is a flannel with a soft, velvety finish, offering great comfort when temperatures drop.

During weaving, threads of different colors are used, creating a vivid heathered texture with blue highlights and subtle touches of white.

Benoît, our co-founder, is obsessed with shirts—and especially with their details. That’s why special attention was given to:

  • The collar: its proportions were studied so it holds its shape in any situation. Closed, its open points sit naturally beneath the lapels of a blazer. Open, it rests lightly on your collarbones without collapsing.
  • The buttons: our signature mother-of-pearl buttons are included. Extra thick, they come from the French supplier Corne et Corozo.
  • The French seams: especially visible along the shirt’s sides, this premium construction ensures a clean, elegant finish with no bulky fabric layers—only a single visible seam line on the outside.
