As part of the release of our new ties , we thought it would be a good idea to show you how to properly make yours, with a knot.
So I shot two short videos in our pretty boutique at 14 rue Commines to show you all this.
In the first, I show you how to properly tie a simple tie knot . Once you have gotten the hang of it, you will need to determine the right length between the two sides before starting to tie so that at the end, the tie ends up where it needs to be (neither too long nor too short). ). This good length depends on the knot you tie, but also on your body shape and the height of the pants you wear.
In the second video, I wanted to show you how to make the drop , this detail very appreciated by purists which makes a knot beautiful, different from the others you see, which are flatter. I found quite little content on this subject, in the French-speaking sphere at least. It's like it's a secret. Well, I'll reveal it to you. Because I’m a guy like that, into sharing.
