You’ll turn more than a few heads with these pants, as it’s not every day you see velvet with such original ridges. Known as high and low, this fabric alternates between two different ridge thicknesses. It’s the result of the expertise of Velcorex’s experienced employees. After being woven by their trusted partner in Pakistan (to offer it at a reasonable price), each ridge is precisely cut in Alsace to create the finest velvet we’ve found.
And to make sure you stand out subtly, our Portuguese workshop achieved a unique tobacco shade, as soft as the feel of the velvet itself. This balance was achieved through garment-dyeing: the pants are assembled first, then dyed. This allows the fabric to absorb less color, which fades slightly after washing in the workshop, revealing softer and more pleasing shades.
