A prestigious deer leather

100% deer leather

Leather is a living material, which means there are subtle differences between each pair of gloves; yours will be unique.

Usually only used by luxury brands, deer leather is rarer, more complex, and expensive to work with, but it has undeniable qualities:

Its very soft and silky hand (“buttery soft”), which is the first thing you notice when you hold it!

  • Its inimitable appearance
  • Its flexibility for great comfort
  • Its resistance to water and abrasion
  • Its excellent thermal regulation
  • Its beautiful patina

A creation by the last traditional Neapolitan glove maker

In Naples, the historical capital of leather gloves, the art of glove-making has been practiced since the 18th century.

As for Omega Guanti, they arrived in 1923. Today, the family is in its 5th generation, and it is the last traditional glove maker in Naples!

A meticulous hand-assembly process

The assembly of their gloves is such a meticulous process that almost all 25 steps are done by hand, under natural light to properly see the leather’s shades. Just cutting the patterns requires 5 steps!

The only time a machine is used is for certain stitches, which are done on Singer sewing machines from the 1900s (which are still mechanical, not electric).
