Our opinion

A serious "outsider" among knitwear brands, Tricot has two strong points: very competitive prices and fantasy in terms of colors.

Cable sweaters are really nice, with contemporary patterns. Hand-knitted sweaters arouse our curiosity, because they are real armor against the cold.

It's still a very young brand, and we hope that the collection will quickly expand with new products and ever more subtle colors.

Special mention to the e-shop, a real UFO, but with formidable ergonomics.

The history of the brand Knitting

Tricot is a young brand specializing in knitwear, with the aim of using recycled yarns or organic wool — coming from sheep that have not been exposed to chemicals —.

It is also a “Direct-To-Consumers” brand, without intermediaries, which allows it to be very competitive on its prices. The other side of the coin is that its products are only available on its e-shop.

The collection includes simple and timeless sweaters, from the most sober to the most surprising colors. Everything is knitted in Italy, except for certain very particular, very thick pieces, which are knitted by hand in Peru.

Price-wise, the simplest sweaters are €69, and it goes up to €149, especially for cashmere pieces. Hand-knitted stitches cost €250.
