SNS Herning is a brand founded in 1931 by Søren Nielsen Skyt in Herning, Denmark . The name of the brand comes from the initials of its founder and the place of creation.

The brand's core business is very high quality knitwear. The mesh principle was created in the 1920s when the creator discovered the “bubble” mesh through contact with Danish fishermen. This technique makes it possible to increase the insulation of the mesh and its robustness.

It is also a family affair since only four people are involved in creating the stitches in the Danish workshop. As a result, collections are often reduced to ensure diversity of models, exclusivity and to limit the risk of unsold stocks.

The key pieces are made with a particular knitting stitch, but the brand is trying to reinvent itself by diversifying its offering via scarves, hats and even t-shirts.
